 Summary: Welcome to the SECOND annual NF Secret Santa!

This is listed as a  challenge so it'd be easier to share stories when they're ready to post!

 First a little intro on how Secret Santas work: you submit your preferences on how you'd like your story to be written, it's a gift to you! By submitting, you are agreeing to write a story for someone else, is the gift from you.

 

As a writer, you agree to:

1. Complete the short story assigned in no fewer  than 1,000 words.

2. Have it completed and posted on time! Due dates are Dec 23 - Dec 31.

3. In the summary or story notes include "For my Secret Santa, ______" followed by the given penname.

4. Come back here and click "respond to challenge" and add your story to the list.

Secret Santas are to remain anonymous until the story is posted! They will be chosen at random after they are divided according to their preferences.

Children's Television Star Seeks Love by Nik [Responses - 0] [Report This]
Summary: This totally came out of my watching Go, Diego Go! with my son but I think it's funny and challenge anyone to try. I want to see you write a story where the male lead is having trouble finding a companion because he is the star of a children's television show. Make him like Barney or Mr. Rogers, go wild! This could be hilariously funny, morbid, romantic, do what you please.

Pop!Tober Fiction Writing Challenge by MissM [Responses - 18] [Report This]
Summary:

POP!Tober is an *NSYNC Fiction writing challenge that runs from October 1-31.  It is short, COMPLETE, stories that POP! 

Rules
1. Obviously, the story needs to be about an *NSYNCer or the group. You can include anyone you want, as long as the main character is a member of *NSYNC

2. This works the same as Awesome August- a brand new story everyday. October 17th is Chris' birthday, so anyone who wants to write a Chris centric story is encouraged to sign up on that day. 

3. There is no length minimum or maximum, no genre limits, but your story must be COMPLETE by the end of your assigned day. 

4. I've included some prompts that you can use if you need a boost. If you use a prompt, please mark it in your story notes. Check the Stillnsync forum for the list of prompts! 

5. Signups are open September 1- September 30 or until the challenge is full.

Summary:

This challenge is revamped from the annual Popslash Awesome August challenge on Livejournal. I've brought it here to NF so that Het writers can get in on the fun! 

The purpose of the challenge is to encourage writing, first of all. Second of all, to produce 30 days of *NEW* fiction!  

The Rules:

>The story can be any length, any genre, about any member, or the whole group.

>No limits except it must be COMPLETE. A shortie, a longie, a visual, a ficlet...

>It must be fiction and it must be *NSYNCified. Can you involve other bands, actors, actresses, etc? YES. The main character must be an *NSYNCER. 

This challenge is now FULL! OMG! How awesome are you guys?!

 *Awesome August is now complete and was a raging success! Thanks to all of our authors and readers!

Summary: Summary: Your two main characters are EX-lovers that just happen to be at the beach at the same time. They have been separated for years. One is okay with that separation and the other is not. There should be longing on one end and "feigned" indifference on the other. What is the resolution?

    Summary:

    OK....so I would absolutely love to see a one-shot written with the song Carry Out. I am completely obsessed with the song and the video. Especially Justin's solo in the video, hence my idea for a one-shot. I want:

    1. A one-shot (hopefully a visual)

    2. Must be Justin (it can have other members but the lead must be Justin)

    3. Must contain a naughty maid...and Justin in a suit

    4. Can be any rating, but hoping for NC-17

    Summary:

    You may be one of the lucky NF'rs following my crazyness on Twitter. If so, you know exactly what this challenge is all about... so get busy *wink* and start typing!

    If not, I shall explain!

    Talking to my BFF, the conversation over graphic sex scenes on tv or in movies turned into "would you ever watch him in a real life sex-tape if it ever leaked?" 

    Of course my pervy brain later on Nsync-ified this and I posed the question to fellow nsync fans on my Twitter.

    Needless to say... the majority said YES (some with certain conditions!)

     

    I CHALLENGE YOU:

    1. Write a visual (erotic, pervy, smutty, however you like it) with one of the guys making/filming a sex tape. He can be watching a sex tape too, but I think the first option can be more fun.

    2. he can be alone or with a girl... surprise us.

    3. Add a twist (a surprise, something creative)! Because its fun and always unexpected.... and it'll make your story stand out from the rest because i'm hoping this challenge gets A LOT of responses! :)

     

    I do want to add a due date... I want authos to fee free to add to this challenge whenever they can, but let's say Valentines Day? Or before if you're as excited as I am lol!

    Summary:

    Hello! I wanted somebody to write a story about Justin losing his virginity (older Justin, not illegal Justin, lol). I would like him to be ansty about, embarassed maybe? It can be a series. We can have Justin progress sexually before the big "bang" LOL. his first time oral (receiving or giving) and so on and so forth.

    I'll so take a story about Justin taking a girlfriend's/wife's virginity. Once again, it can be a progressional series or it can be just the big "bang" (still giggling, lol). I just have this obscene obsession with Justin taking things slow and giving some of that good ol' Timberlovin' (or learning how to give that Timberlovin').

    Nonetheless, would somebody be a dear and get this par-tay started? Much appreciated :D

    Yes, you read right. I challenge anyone to take part of the 100 Themes Challenge. All you have to do is start a story with each chapter being a different theme. Each chapter can be about a different character, can be from a different point of view, it can be about anything. It just has to be related to *Nsync (duh) and be creative. Any rating goes, it's your choice

    Summary:

    The Day the Music Died

     

                No one can sing.  Instruments are silent.  Radios are static.  CDs are blank.  The music has died.  Music has mysteriously disappeared.  Anytime anyone tries to sing, only raspy whispers escape, even if seconds ago their speaking voice was booming.  Perfectly tuned instruments blow only hot air, drums make no sound, CDs that were once full are suddenly blank, all radio stations are broadcasting static, people in music videos are dancing to silence.  Even elevators are quiet.  Except for one girl who can still sing, and beautifully.  Any instrument she picks up sounds like heaven, only to become mute once in the hands of anyone else.  Suddenly, the fate of the musical world rests in her hands – and voice.  It is up to her to repopulate the world with music.  And who better to help her than the new King of Pop himself – Justin Timberlake.

    Requirements:

    1. Can include all members of *NSYNC, but Justin must be the main male character.
    2. A heterosexual romance would be fantastic, but any genre is acceptable.  Or a combination of genres.
    3. I would like the rating to be NC-17 if the genre is romance, but if the writer is uncomfortable with this, any rating is appreciated.  Any rating is fine if the writer decides to pick a different genre.
    4. The female character must be appropriate.  For instance, a reasonable age range.  No fifteen- or eighty-year-old main characters, please.
    5. Female character must also be a nobody.  No other celebrities, unless in secondary or supporting characters.  Celebrities’ likenesses can be used.  For instance, a celebrity in the role of the fictional main character, should you choose to cast the story.  But not as themselves, except in the above stated exceptions.
    6. I would like to see the female lead be an original character.  I would prefer anyone who accepts this challenge not to use characters from their other stories or series.  If possible, I would also like the female character’s name to be of musical influence.  Lyric, Cadence, Melody, Medley, Harmony, Symphony, you get it.  Something pretty.  You don’t have to get crazy with it, and my suggestions are not a must.  If you can come up with something prettier or more exotic, have at it.
    7. I envisioned a title of “The Day the Music Died”, but feel free to fiddle with this if you can think of something better.
    8. Other than that, have fun!  I had a dream about this, and I’m not much of a writer myself, so I wouldn’t do it justice by trying to bring it to life.  Hopefully an experienced writer will accept, but I encourage anyone creative to attempt.  Any questions, comments, concerns, whatever – feel free to contact me at marek_love@hotmail.com.

    Ok I'm done singing, but geesuz JC Chasez is trying to kill me. This Halloween he was a COWBOY and took a really hot pic with these two girls *is jealous* lol!

    3. stay loyal to the photo (meaning use the cowboy/indian costumes!)

    4. make it a story (yes sex is good, but a little story around it is always nice too lol!)

    5. dont get too creative, I'm not asking for an ol' western fic here. Keep it at the party, or after the party, or during the party... lol!

     

    that's it! I'm not picky! Run with it... have fun, make it good and don't be scared to make it as naughty, kinky, smutty as you like lol! :)

    National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) by MissM [Responses - 7] [Report This]
    Summary:

    NaNoWriMo 2009 has come to a close! It was a very successful run, and got six new stories out of it!

    I encourage anyone who even started a story to share it with the community here at NF... and if you're still feeling the burn, but didn'tfinish completely, there's NaNoFiMo-- National Novel FINISHING month!

    NaNoWriMo is an annual event for writers, held from Nov 1 to Nov 30, where writers......write. The goal? A complete piece-- novel, story, what have you. Your minimum goal? 50.000 words.

    Yeah, it sounds like a lot, until you get started... but really, it's about getting as close as you possibly can, before the end of the month.  Just. keep. writing.

    The rules? Not many, but the most stringent is that your NaNo piece must be NEW. You cannot dredge up an old story and restart it or revamp it or continue it. BRAND NEW on November 1!

    The goal? Write everyday. Write something everyday, don't worry about editing until it's done! 

    Have an idea for something new? Burnt out on your current stories? Want to challenge yourself to write something longer, deeper, angstier, more romantic, more adventurous, about someone else? I think NaNo is calling your name! 

    I'm thinking of starting a little NaNo group over at the StillNsync forums.

    3. Justin can be in the story, I'm not crazy! but as a minor character k? No big role or anything.
    4. it can be as short or as long as you want... though honestly, chapter stories are my favs *wink wink*.

    Role Play by Timberlake [Responses - 2] [Report This]
    Summary: Hello, it's Mari here. I was just wondering if some talented individual or individuals would like to do me a tiny favor?

    Could someone get their filthy minds together and write a visual based on either one of these Trey Songz lyrics? The first song is called "Role Play" and the second song is called "More Than That". I love both songs and just listening to them... mmm... LOL. So, if some darlin' person could be so kind and get kinky on paper for me, I'd appreciate it :D *cough*bri*mamanikki*britters*cough* and so on and so forth.

    Really, I'd love to see something from katethegreat or glowbug or Sox or Donna too. Whoever! Really, the more the better, haha
