After receiving a fifth email, I thought....heck let me just post up a message, lol!

The down time two weeks ago was due to my expired card being on-file with the host. They have the new card now so all its okay. I guess word was going around that I was asking for donations? I offered to do so for tasting-eden (assuming that would help) but Nikki came back and took care of it.

If you really cherish the site and would like to help out, of course it'd be greatly appreciated. Nothing is free and I know I have to renew the name in Aug.

So I'm adding a donation button to the bottom of the page...if you wish. If not, the site isnt going anywhere anytime soon so no worries. :)

This note is for the girls that have homes at Tasting Eden. The domain is down, if you haven't noticed, lol. I emailed Nikki a few days ago, but her computer is on the fritz so I don't think she knows. I can't do anything, because I don't have any authority on the account so my hands are tied until Nikki gets in contact with me and/or our hosting company.



But Vikki has come to the rescue! She is offering to be a temp host to our sites until TE is back up and running. If you are currently a hostee of Tasting Eden, and would like to move your site over here temporarily, email me at pinkrazr36@hotmail.com and let me know. I'll then help Vikki get everything set up and then I'll get back in contact with you asap!

I know this is a little off base, but considering Michael Jackson inspired the guys of NSYNC, i thought I'd post about. We lost a living legend yesterday that has upset not only musicians but every person on this earth. I don't care what Michael did behind closed doors, he was an icon that bridged together different races, religions and generations through his music. He will be sorely missed.

It's a dirty word, one I hate to to see used, especially via email in my inbox.

But it happens. Too often. But it happens.

With the amount of talent on this tiny little corner of the internet, I thank the skies it doesn't happen too often. But when it does, my heart goes out to authors. Not to sound overly dramatic but, its like seeing your child get kidnapped you know? With the amount of time, care, and yes... even love, that some of the authors here put into their stories, you can surly call them your babies.

Which makes us moderators what? Baby-sitters? Nannies? LOL! Ok let me stop... this isnt funny. It's very serious. My point is, we're family. A community brought together by a common interest. When one of us is wronged, we're all wronged.

In the recent situation that occurred, it was an author on fanfiction.net that wronged us. She took several stories from one of our authors and I believe a few from another one of us, possibly more. She has apologized for the plagiarism and confessed that out of the 43 stories she had posted, she had only written 8.

I repeat, we are a family. I hope you all agree with me on that. If you ever, ever, ever see any story belonging to our community posted on any other site, do not hesitate to contact us.

This situation was resolved in a very non-messy way. It was the offended author's email to the plagiarist that cleared everything up in the end. But its always best to let us know so we too can contact their site moderators as well.

Ok, I think that's all I wanted to say. Hugs and high fives all around for the happy ending. :)
