These lines here: “A vacation? A vacation? You can’t be serious!” Mark slammed his beer bottle down on the table as he let out a boisterous laugh and pointed his finger at JC. “You don’t know how to go on a vacation! When in the hell was the last vacation you ever took?”
LOL That may be true, I think wherever JC goes, he's always writing something or typing something, the guy doesn't know how to relax, even if he doesn't have a notebook or a laptop in front of him, his mind is running laps a mile a minute..

Its been a while since you updated this..lolz I needed to refresh my mind a bit.
I giggled at these lines though, I like how JC just keeps pestering..LOL "
He kept his eyes in front of him, toying with the keys. “Kind of late for him to be calling, huh?”
“Oh, sometimes he runs on, um, Central Time – jet lag and all that.”
He continued to play, avoiding eye contact with her. “Right, Central Time since he’s from Nashville. That makes sense. That’s two hours ahead of us, though.”
She swallowed nervously. “I guess he’s a bit of a night owl.”
“I guess so,” he said flatly.
