I'm finally reading this, and as usual questioning why the hell I ever waited so long. Um...that thing, at the end...I have a feeling that's set the tone for the WHOLE rest of the story and I'm in for a ride.

Finally all caught up, I want Casey to pull her head outta her ass. She wants the thing she says she doesn't need.

Ooooh, great start. Casey and JC's argument was so heated, I was wondering how it was going to end. Casey is awesome.

So yeah, I shouldn't have read this chapter for two reasons. One, I should be writing an update for my own story. Two, reading well written fiction like this makes me all the more insecure about my own schtick. HA! I like this story, you feel the palpable energy between the two of them. I really shouldn't...but onto the next chapter. ;)
