THIS STORY SET THE BAR sooooo HIGH!! Ugh, one of my absolute favorites in general--fanfiction/nonfanfiction, etc. So descriptive and engaging, and it pulled me away from reality for a while. Wonderful job!

I wanted to take the time out and say thanks for a beautifully written story. I been reading fan fiction for years and recently started back up again. It is hard for me to find a story to fall in love with but this one had me up til 5am (as you can tell) either in tears of joy or anger. This was the first fan fiction story i had read in the last 5 years and it reminded me why I loved reading and writing them myself. Looking foward to reading more of your stories. =)

right now this story is exactally what im going through in life. I had a son 2 months ago, and i started reading this story right before i had him. what your writing is what im going thru with his father. he has a gf, n hes cheated on her with me. yeah hes scared to leave her and allow us to become a family and raise our son together. its just so crazy on how your story is just so real life for me. its helped me out a few times on letting him know how im feeling and what im thinking. thank you for writing...

Author's Response: Sorry about that. This story caused me some sleep deprivation as well haha. As for the awards I was kind of flabbergasted. I figured, especially since WIPs were eligable in most catagories this time around, that this story wouldn't win much just because it was completed and everyone who had read it was finished with it. So it was a wonderful surprise. Glad you enjoyed the story and thanks for taking the time to read and review!

It took me 4 days to read this story. It is one of the best I have read. I'm so happy that Charlotte and Justin ended up together in the end. Bonus, that Justin started performing again. I saw there was a mini-story for UTTK but is there a sequal in the works?

that was freakin amazi ng it brought tears to my eyes!!!! I'm so glad Charlie an Justin finally got together they were destined to be together!!! an roxie got what she deserved!!!!! ugh. conflicting emotions here! so happy to finally read the end, but so so sad that it is over! :o( but wow...this has been an emotional and entertaining journey. i feel like i've been a character in it myself with how intense my feelings would be as i read this story. anyway, i'm super happy with the outcome. i was worried there that charlie would let him in easily since he has such a hold on her, but i'm so glad it wasn't easy and she made him suffer for a bit. it was only fair! but i'm so glad they made it back to each other and justin made it back to himself. absolutely love that. perfect ending. :o) i will have to check out the deleted scenes. you always seem to create characters that become my fav couples. Charstin. Skystin. loooove. thanks for sharing your awesome talent with us once again and creating this masterpiece. yes, masterpiece. now when are we going to make this into a movie? :o)

I always seem to forget to review. Weird. Anyway, YAY!!! So glad they worked it out! I was hoping for this ending! Also that Justin got back to doing what he loved! I loved this story! You took us on so many twists and turns and we really had no idea how it was going to go. Great job! I hope this isn't the end from you and you continue to grace us with your writing skills! Author's Response: Yeah I was going to scrap the epilogue (really just because I liked the idea of closing the story with "roll the fuckin' credits" haha) but my editor insisted that it was important and kind of forced me to write it and I'm glad she did. Because when I was done I realized that it was important to show Justin and Charlotte happy. And that's SO TRUE what you said about us all writing him coming back to music. He's good at a lot of things but music is where he REALLY shines. Thanks for reading and reviewing!!!
So, I left a review on the last chapter not realizing there was an epilogue. haha.
That being said...I LOVE how you chose to end this. It really feels like he's come full circle back to his real self. He's home again. It gives me the warm fuzzies.
I have a theory about why we all write him returning to music in our stories. It's not because we miss his music, even though we do...I think it's because we all think that's where his heart truly is--where he probably feels the most at home. When he's on stage it is impossible to tear your eyes away from him...he's so talented it hurts.
Anyway...my apologies for the tangent there. LOVED IT!
