Summary: Candis Phillips had some pretty big issues - pregnant, alone, on welfare, and among other things, some deep personal demons that she just can't shake; it takes the will of a stranger to lead her to the path of redemption,  self-loving, and forgiveness. It's a story of faith, loss, personal demons, and the first love that changes a woman's misconception of men.
