Story Notes:
This story did not go in the direction I had planned. It went off on it's own and I was unable to bring it back to its original path. Being writers, you know how that goes. Without spoiling, there is a storyline that is not tied up with a neat little bow, it just sort of went away. I had more planned for that but nothing panned out. The ending came quick and abrubt as I ran out of ideas and just stared at the blinking cursor. Insted of leaving it unfinished, I found the best idea I had to finish the story. Maybe one day I'll do a rewrite if the muses call to me. Until then this is it.
For the character of Rachel, I have basically taken Carrie Underwood's career, minus American Idol. Her songs, her albums, her tour names.
