Summary: Sequel to Homewrecker/The Man Between Us/The Safest Place

When everything is life and death
You may feel like there's nothing left
Instead of love and trust and laughter
What you get is happy never after
But deep down all you want is love
The pure kind we all dream of

But we can not escape the past
So you and I will never last"

Story Notes:

I thought I was done, but I guess one day my characters decided they had other ideas and informed me I wasn't even close to done.

A little warning: this story will not be for the faint of heart. I'm sure it's not as bad as I'm making it sound, but I'm rating it NC-17 anyway, just in case.

Music has inspired me more for this one in the series than any of the other stories; title comes from the song "Every Other Weekend" by Reba McEntire and Kenny Chesney. Other songs of importance will show up in future chapters.

And one last thing: while this is the next installment after Homewrecker/The Man Between Us/The Safest Place, it takes part after DiamondDoss's "All The Way Around" and I will reference that one a lot here. If you haven't read any of those four, good luck keeping up with this one lol.
