i started writing nsync fanfic in '98 so i'm like, way old school.
this is the home of my caffeine addicted, smut writing alter ego. i'm way less inappropriate in my real life. i like writing about jc. that voice, that face, and that vaguely enigmatic personality just do it for me.
It's been eleventy-million years since this story was updated, but every so often I come back and re-read what's been written because this was one of my favorites. On the off chance that this reaches you out there in cyberspace, I just want to say that I hope you're still writing. You were amazing.
So here's the deal: I don't typically read Justin-as-main-character fanfic because, during the height of *NSYNC's popularity, I read enough of them that were awful. And now I have no idea how I even came upon this story, but I just spent the last two days absolutely inhaling it (and possibly neglecting some real life things). Though the end makes me sad, it I love, love, LOVED this. The story itself is so well-done, but my favorite thing is how well characterized and developed and nuanced each character is--including the relatively minor ones. You're a phenomenal writer and now, I guess I have some more Justin-centric stories to go enjoy. ;)

so I just discovered this story and clearly have been tearing through it. wow. I'm completely hooked and this chapter is smoking hot and I can't wait to see what comes next. the characters are fantastic and I love the banter between Ellie and JC.
i think you officially win for longest time between updates. ;-) seriously though, it's fantastic to see some of our "old" writers return to posting. i hope you'll be sticking around this time.
Author's Response: Haha, yeah, after an internship, working, having a baby and planning a wedding...I've been gone for just a little bit of time! wow. another one of those stories I came across by accident, penned by a long gone author. in case this reaches you, you're an amazing writer. you capture emotions in a way that is so profound. I hope you're still writing beautiful words somewhere out there.
On a day that was like any other day, which were mostly all the same, JC receives an email that was not intended for him. A very lucky twist of fate connects him with this woman he's never met and doesn't know but means the world to him-- now if only he can stop her from finding out who he really is before he's ready to tell her. And when he does, will she change?
A cute story, and lots of fun to write. : )

This story. This beautiful/wonderful/hysterical/heartbreaking/poignant AMAZING story! So over the course of the past week this story became my guilty pleasure--not guilty because I'm ashamed of reading it, mind you. It's just that I was reading when I should've been doing, uh, important life type stuff. But I digress...you have such a talent and gift it was such a pleasure to fall head first into this story, and head first in love with Serena and JC. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

so I had a bit of time, and I was looking for something ~new to me~ to read and came across this one. first of all, finding stories of yours that I haven't read yet is a little like finding $20 I forgot about in the pocket of jeans I haevn't worn in awhile. I'm probably the only JC fan on the planet that isn't generally a fan of daddy!JC stories, but this one...I'm hooked already. you've done such a fabulous job (as always!) of crafting a story that, from jump, pulls me right in and makes me feel like I'm right there. you've done JC-as-husband-and-father in such a way that I'm really excited to read more--when I'm done adulting and have more time. ;-) Also, a world without music from JC would most certainly be nightmarish, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this one resolves!

wonderful chapter, as usual. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Nadine and Drake, and the fact that he can talk to her despite her connection to Reese. And kudos to her for being kind to Justin!

oh my. they're breaking my heart. you've done such an amazing job of creating complex characters and I'm so conflicted. on the one hand drake just seems so solid and dependable and that's wonderful. but reese's history with justin, and how fiesty and fiery and comfortable they are with each other... aaah!
i'm awaiting her final decision with baited breath...although I'm not sure I want to know!
sigh. have i mentioned how much i've loved this story? i have. such a perfect way to end it. although i have to admit, i'm kind of sad that it's done. great, great job--as usual.
