Note: Katy was a character that I had originally planned to introduce in a Justin story that I was struggling to write for a friend of mine. Her personality became a combination of many women that I know in my real life and she became a lot of fun to write. Ideas began popping into my mind about how she would react to certain situations, such as Lance coming out of the closet, some of the lyrics in some of JC's songs and Justin's solo career. Not to mention the MMC years, who can really turn down a chance to write about those days? What was originally meant as a small side character with an appearance of only a few chapters turned into several short stories including each NSYNC member as well as a few short serials that involved mainly JC but the others as well. Because she just wouldn't get the hint and leave, and my characterization of JC seemed to be madly addicted to her, the Behind Blue Eyes series was born.
