"Hello?"

Panting.

"Hello?"

Christi panted, "Jessi, help me!"

"Oh my god! Christi, what's the matter?"

"I don't know. My stomach hurts. It's the baby!" Christi cried out.

"Where are you?"

"Araceli's"

"Stay right there. I'm on my way."

Anxiously awaiting his fiancée’s return, the blue-eyed celebrity chomped on take-out while aimlessly flipped through the hotel's satellite channels. Only to find nothing on that he wished to see. Landing on ABC News, he got up to pop a DVD rental in. only to hear the worst news of his life exposed on television.

"Not thirty minutes ago, a bystander reported a disastrous car accident on how an out-of-control drunk driver of the SUV turned the wrong way down a one-way street and into the now totaled BMW. We have yet to be giving much further details about the accident, but official have been able to release the identification of the BMW as a
Miss Marci Miller, who has been life-flighted to Ben-Taub Hospital."

After his few of shock wore off, Justin hit speed dial 1 to make sure it wasn't his Marci.

RING. RING. RING. NO ANSWER.

He hit speed dial 1 again, thinking, "Come on. Pick up, baby."

RING. RING. "Hello?"

Frantic Justin answers, "Marci."

An unfamiliar voice, belonging to some kind of official, confirms his worst nightmare, "I'm sorry to tell you this but…"

Justin interrupts the official with a click of the phone. On his mission to get to his fiancée, he sprints out the door, not forgetting his keys and room keycard, down the elevators, and out the hotel lobby, bypassing all his fans.

"Jessi, it hurts! Owwwwww!"

"I know chica. We're almost there. Here, squeeze this to relieve some of the pain and try breathing or something," Jessi advised Christi while handing her a pillow from the backseat of her 2003 Acura RSX.

"I swear if this kid doesn't stop kicking the hell out of me, she
will not be having any siblings!"

Jessi stifled a laugh, "15 minutes tops."

"Oh shit! Jessi, we have a problem."

"What?! Christi, what is it? You're scaring me!"

"My water just broke."

"In my car! Dammit! Okay, calm down, Jessi. It's just a car." Jessi tried to console herself more than Christi.

"Owwww!"

"We're here."

"Um, Jessi, this isn't St. Joseph Hospital."

"I know, traffic is backed up and you're sitting in my car while in what sounds like painful labor. Just be happy, that I found a hospital, at least. So, here let me help you get your ass outta my car so we can find out what's up with you and the baby."

"I know what's up already. I'm in labor, Jessi!"
