I adore this story.  I've only read the first chapter and I'm in love.  Young, southern Justin is fantastic...and the best friend story is incredible too.  I can't wait to read more :)

oh.  my. god.

first off, i needed this. with all the crap going on in real life at the moment, the fluff was so very much needed. so thank you for that.

secondly, i may have to fight glow for trace. he owns my soul.

this is just... ugh. so beyond adorable and so insanely well written. it's EXACTLY the way i'd picture a small town, so you have done a fantastic job with the description stuff.

and seriously, justin is just plain love.

alright woman, i demand updates for this!!

Love, love, love this story *_* Please do continue it. I'm curious to see what'll happen to them or if one of them is bold enough to admit to his/her feeling before they part ways.

Structurally, I like how this story has a poetic-lyrical lilt to it, with the description and images you've used. It makes the reader feel like she's there, and connect to the characters more.

fucking trace! omg I wanted to kick his ass so hard through most of this chapter... lol!

but OMGZ ... Justin is just! GUH! I LOVE HIM! Him poking into her bedroom, all adorable and teasing, and then her fixing his tie during pictures and omg him wanting them to leave prom and ditch misty and trace! and sitting next to her in the limo! and him 'taking her home' but not really bc they end up at that bridge and ... GUH!

Will he just kiss her already?!!! I can't take this torture!!

Ok...so you left me hanging like Taylor...what damn song by Tim McGraw is suppossed to make him think of her? I really want to effin know! That's been killing me ever since I heard the song (which I love by the way prolly on my top 10 of fave songs of all time). Then I watched the video thinking they might play it on that damn radio that was by her head...but no! And now you!!! So to satisfy me...what song was it? LOL. Just kidding. I love this update. This is like amazing because I've read a lot of AUs and this makes him more like a regular person than anyone I've ever read before. I could actually see him doing all of this had he not gone on Star Search that one time. I really love this, and I can't wait to read more. Although, I'd prefer Hooked, but if you update this in the mean time. I won't complain. LOL

And I totally agree with Misty. She is scared of admitting her feelings for him. But I think that she is scared of admitting them because she knows how he feels about her and if she finally tells him how she feels then she would kind of feel obligated to stay there with him.To stayin the small town, and its pretty obvious thats not what she wants. She wants to get out. But the question is she willing to do that without him? Okay totally overthinking this. LOL Dont mind me....
