Summary: Olivia Kings always felt stuck. So when the opportunity presented itself, she bolted out of her quaint little small town faster than she can blink. Life, she believes, has too much to offer to settle down to what you’re accustomed to. Nine years later, she gets a call from her little sister begging her to come back so she can fix the family emergency. Ironically enough, this so-called family her sister insists on referring to is nothing short of dysfunctional: with her two-timing dad, alcoholic mother, and a sheltered little sister who wants nothing more than her own fairytale ending, it’s no wonder Olivia hopped on that first bus out of Shelby Forest, Tennessee the second she was out of high school. As much as her mind adamantly screams no, Olivia’s nine years worth of guilt weighs heavily on her shoulder and before she knew it her bags were packed and driving on the road she promised herself she’ll never come back to. They say that “home is where the heart it.” Olivia says that home is where hell on earth is and that’s exactly where she’s headed to.
