I like to read, and occasionally I like to write. I used to write fan fiction way back in the day (when I was *cough* twelve *cough*
I started reading fiction again because of SomethingBlue42's (Un)Tying the Knot story, which is how I found this dandy community. I'm happy to be here, and I look forward to reading all y'alls wonderful fan fiction.
As for me personally...I'm a New Yorker who "grew up" in the Tennessee, and now resides as a hippie in California--and even though *NSync introduced me to pop music, I feel like the boys have kind of followed me around languidly ever since.
So, again. Here I am. And yeah...I *may or may not* put Giddy Up in my iTunes mix from time to time. I'm just sayin'.
Paige Harper is fresh out of college and writing her first book on the fallen pop idol Justin Timberlake. The problem is... Justin Timberlake has lost it all... his fans, his friends, his family, his sanity and most importantly... his freedom. Can Paige help Justin change his life?
i totally fell asleep at my computer last night reading this story 'cause I didn't want to stop reading.
this is so good. i hate paige's boss! what an ass. I hope she doesn't have to sleep with anyone to get her evidence, and I am very curious about this Tommy character.
poor justy getting taunted by the guards. he's so broken. I haven't figured out whether he's crazy or not yet.
and I feel like that girl in the theatre that's like "don't go!" I don't want her to talk to JC. I don't like him, but I want to find out if he's crazy.
haha, go Paige! Dump Ryan...although at this point, let's hope she's not dumping him for the crazies. As for crazies...Trace is hilarious. He really wants you to get him out of the mental hospital when he's acting like a raving lunatic?
Oh my...can't wait to see where you're going with it
It's a love/hate thing now, the two of them. They get strung out on each other, just like they get strung out on the drugs. Sometimes they don't see each other for days or weeks, but she always comes back. And he's always waiting.
He loves her because she needs it, and she loves him because he has it.
But he hates her for keeping him tied to the business, and she hates him for getting her Hooked.
This is such a great story--but it's so hard to read (not because of your writing, it's just sad.) :)
Keep up the good work. :)
Author's Response: it IS sad. someone actually just said this to me again today. the beginning is sad because they're so lost, but hopefully the end is sad in a good way. it's hard to see someone change, but the sadness is sometimes worth it when you know the outcome will be good :) we'll see what the outcome is! thanks for readin, stay tuned!
Is it too much to ask to just be able to understand?
Can one male pop star/actor help a girl whose just getting he feet wet in the acting buissness? Help her understand herself and all that she is? Can one girl help a pop star who has written off all things love related, and give him and understanding of true love? Or will both fail to understand
I really liked this story. Loved the concept--laundry day is hot. I bet you could develop it a little more if ya wanted to. :) I'm sure we would all love it too!
If given a second chance, could JC be brave enough to take it? A woman from his past… A boy who looks strangely like him… In a snowbound airport, an unexpected reunion has the power to change three lives forever.
