is this part of a series then? If not then you never know which story a reader may come to first.
its good to have some mystery in your stories but not to a point where the reader may feel confused or lost and unable to relate or connect to your characters.
there are stories when the guys may develop something, memory loss, blindness, but here you have the leading lady with a disability that (one can assume) some of the general readers may not understand.
open her up and let the readers fall in love with her, that's a sure way to have them fall in love with the story.
Author's Response: no its not a series, its just the same characters. i'm not really sure how to explain nicole or where but i'll talk to my cowriter when i can & see what we can do. we're hopefully adding a flashback so we might be able to there.
CP? as in cerebral palsy? thats interesting....its be good to have a few blanks to be filled in about their background.
and take your time...be descriptive. get us inside that head of yours so we can feel out the story like you do. :)
