This was so cute and funny; I actually found myself chuckling toward the end. I could easily envision this as if I were watching a movie. I have a lot of driving problems myself, so I could totally relate, too.
Nice work, mate!
Hey there. It's me again. I just want to go further on my review here because people might find it awkward that I literally reviewed one of the early chapters instead of the epilogue and read that I already finished reading the whole story (and especially considering that Justin complaining about the "Space Cowboy" costumes isn't exactly the crucial part of that chapter). Hehehe.
Anyway, as I've said in the previous review, I already did read the entire story, and by that I mean I specifically read the whole story last year. This was the very first fan fiction story I've ever read, so I may be new to some obvious stuff, but anyway, I really enjoyed it. I remember I was searching something randomly (related to 'N Sync), when I came across this particular story. I read the very first chapter, and since then I seriously couldn't stop reading. Even though it's fiction, it seriously felt so real (as if it actually happened in real life), and I love that. I know this may be too obvious to say, but this story seriously makes the band so much more human; like the backstage moments show that they really are, and not just superficial superstars the media tends to perceive them as (and I guess not just applicable to them specifically, but to other artists in general).
The aspects/personalities of the characters were so awesome as well; I wish I could make the members in my own stories as realistic as yours. I have to say Justin's character seriously got my attention the most (JC's too of course, but Justin also gets the attention X)); it's so realistic that I could pretty much imagine him doing the actions that he does here in real life (gotta love the part where he gets a pen from his bandana-covered curls haha). That restaurant scene in chapter 7 for some odd reason kinda makes me think of Justin in the movie "Model Behavior."
For the epilogue, I absolutely love the idea of JC proposing to Mack onstage (I could almost literally imagine him doing that in real life as well). I think that is just so romantic. In fact, I kinda used that element as well on my story (but the context is quite different in my story).
I just recently published my first fan fiction story, and it took me quite a while to organize all the chapters and whatnot, but so far everything's complete.
I've already read the whole story, and it's so amazing. I just want you to know that this is the very first fan fiction story I've ever read, and I've been inspired to write some of my own.
That being said, I hope you don't mind if I borrow some elements here, specifically Justin getting annoyed with the "Space Cowboy" costumes. I'm already finished making my first story, and that element has been blatantly used quite a bit, but with a slightly different context.
Author's Response: Oh! Thank you so much for your kind words! There is no better feeling in the world than to know that your writing has inspired someone else. That being said, it's perfectly fine for you to borrow some elements, thanks for asking! I do not "own" the idea of him being annoyed with the Space Cowboy costumes, I just imagined that one of them wouldn't find them appealing at first so Justin was it, heh. Can't wait to see what you do with your first story! Thanks for the review!
ASDFGHJKLJHGFDSASDFGHJ! You have no idea how hard I laughed at this! Poor JC, he's so "innocent". I love that man. ^____^
Great job, though! Loved it. :)
Author's Response: Oh gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't respond to this until now. I've been super busy with school and it has dragged me away from NF but I'm hoping that now things have lightened up enough for me to come back. That being said I have not thought about the sequel in a bit, having other stories to worry about, but this review has gotten be back into the NF mind set so that may be touched up on again soon! Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Oh, wow! I'm so glad you read and enjoyed the story! It really means a lot and it made my day to see this review sitting in my e-mail inbox. =) Thanks for your kind words.
I imagine that all of their bus rides were like this. If only I could have been there to witness! Great Job :)
