Ok that last line was great. Great dialogue in these last few chapters. The part in 27 in the kitchen almost had me crying. I could emptahize with her frustration and need for thins to just be done one way or the other. Great chapters.

Oh thank god. I can calm my rapidly beating heart that has been an issue since the last update!
That scene between them in the kitchen was perfectly intense and honest and awesome and made me happy (well after I had tears in my eyes first).
Now I just hope that everything else falls into place.

Author's Response: I had to stop the rioting and protesting!!! :-D Thanks so much. I think there are exciting things in store for the two of them, now that they've made it over this hump. Sometimes the characters write themselves and I have to say I am proud of "JC" for not making excuses and just laying it out there. It's easier to take, I think, when you just honestly say 'look, I'm a bastard but I learned my lesson and I'm sorry' than if there are endless excuses and reasons. Glad you loved it! I loved it, too!

All I can say is that I love this story. It's written with such a realistic sense of mature relationship drama without going overboard or playing into any preconceived notions or stereotypes; the perfect balance if you will. ;-)~ While I was NOT expecting this little last part, I welcome this small amount of added spice because things may have been going a little too peachy keen between the two love birds. I'm sure they'll move past this soon enough though, but I'd love to see what grand gesture JC will make in order to smooth things over with Serena (because you know he will).

Ok, so the chapter was awesome!! I loved the Serena's dad showing up with a shotgun!! Brings back memories of when my dad did that to my boyfriend!! But, did you have to leave us hanging like that ?!?!? Hopefully you won't leave us hanging too long!!
