yep, that was the perfect ending to this story. they both got what they wanted at the end of the day. it was bittersweet but a totally fitting end for them.

For some reason, this scene reminds me of a part in the book version of 'He's Just Not That Into You.' And I think that fits. Boo, they didn't end up together but I think that it's bound to happen. Justin's right, he couldn't give her what she wants and if they kept  on staying in the relationship, it'll end worse than it would have at the time. Bittersweet ending I suppose. Good job as always~

Wow. Really? Really? I do kind of feel for him. You can tell he really wished he could have been THAT guy for her. But for once you write a Justin that I don't want to strangle the life out of! LOL. Kudos to him for not compromising himself just to give her what she wanted. And not be completely selfish about it. It really is an all round happy ending.

I love that your stories don't always end with Justin getting the girl. hehe. I loved this one. Had sort of a bittersweet ending to it and it wasn't drawn out and I got the emotions of both characters and understood where they were both coming from. Greatness! Very well done.

:o( well I can't say I'm surprised, but it doesn't make it suck any less. But well...they just want different things and I agree that it would suck for either of them to give in and then resent the other for the rest of their time together. Update soon. :o)

Oh man. While, yes, they broke up...I have a feeling that the torturing each other gimic they've got going isn't going to stop now that's she's walked out the door.
