I loved this chapter so much!
My favorite part:
“Just wait until she turns sixteen and gets interested in boys.”
“That’s not gonna happen,” JC said seriously as he shook his head. “Even if I have to lock her in her bedroom and barricade her door there is no way that she is ever going to go on a date.” He paused before looking across the table at Mack. “Same goes for you, too.”
“How did this suddenly turn around on me? And who said anything about me wanting to go on a date? I’d stay single until I’m dead if I had the chance,” she said with an eye roll.
“You say that now. Just know that the guys and I will screen every guy that even tries to talk to you.” He smiled. “Just to make sure.”
Aww JC being all overprotective is sooo cute!
I also like the thunderstorm part, getting in bed with JC, Justin and Lance all at the same time? Ahhh! Lucky! But, I'm like the complete opposite, I love thunderstorms, and whenever it rains, it relaxes me!
“If its ok with you guys,” JC said as he looked over at Chris, Lance, and Joey. They had been there for a few hours all ready and he could tell that all they wanted to do was to get some food and then go back to the hotel. It was dark outside all ready and he knew that the fading daylight was taking its toll on their moods.
“’Course man,” Joey replied with a smile.
“Have you heard yourself sing? You deserve it,” Chris replied.
JC blushed but smiled. Justin grinned and nudged him in the side. Justin knew that he had a good voice, he constantly reminded the others (of course he was only teasing), but he didn’t know it was good enough to sing lead. And he was singing lead with JC, his best friend, his older brother, his role model. If they had to pick one person to lead he’d pick JC in an instant. As Justin told him many times before JC could “out sing anybody in the whole damn world.” JC never believed anyone when they told him that. Justin just thought he was fishing for attention but he finally found out that JC truly thought he could be better than he all ready was.
Ummm, wouldn’t he (JC) really know that he’s that good of a singer? I mean Chris was right, he really hadn’t heard himself sing. LOL. He is really one of the most underrated singers in Hollywood. But anyways, I love this chapter because it keeps me puzzled whether Mack has feelings for JC or what. And the Lou and photoshoot part, it is really getting to show up the real color of Lou Pearlman. I hate him. He makes himself intimidating. That’s why the boys cannot come to him to talk about something in some way or another. I really need to finish this story. I just love it ‘cause I love *NSYNC so much and I get more and more information about them and around them. Thanks. You really research. Good job on this. :D
Author's Response: Well, I've always been told that JC was modest about the things that he's good at so that's how I portrayed it. You're going to have to keep reading the series to find out if she has feelings for him or not. And yes, Loud is so...UGH!! Haha, to start THIS far back I need as much research as possible. i think this has to be one for the most rollercoaster-like story I've read in a while. But, it imitates life down to a T. Especially for such a young girl.

Of course they were going to pass their exams, but a little bit of drama never harmed anyone. Well, except maybe Chris's mental state. I mean he did count the hallways' tiles...lol. fave quote: "I'm young, I'll bounce back"
Guess his nickname "Bounce" just took on a new meaning. But, I loved it! yay!

Girl! Where do I begin?? Let me see...1st off..I would like to say that was a GREAT ending for this story...Im soo glad that Mack & Justin got BOTH passing grades! & its AWESOME that Mack has soo many opportunities, & the guys are all supportive of it...I love the moments when all four guys were waiting for Mack & Justin to finish the exam...& lolz Chris counting the tiles! Best line “Long enough for me to find out that there are exactly 2,962 tiles in this one hallway alone,” LMAOOO Chris! U g2 love him.. :D
I also like when JC told Nikki straightforward without being hurtful that they couldnt continue their relationship, & that Nikki understood, & that they can remain frdz..thats a good thing.. :) & the same goes with Justin & Veronica.. Another good line "Im young, I'll bounce back" Typical Justin..lolz
Anyway..I really enjoyed EVERYTHING in this story, Im talking abt since the very beginning..it had frdship, betrayal, fear, support, laughter, suspense, & soo much more..EXCELLENT JOB Girl! U are a great writer..Keep up the good work! :D *hugs*
Author's Response: Thank you! I was afraid about the ending but I'm glad you liked it. Well, if Mack didn't pass she'd be in a very pissy mood now wouldn't she? Haha. Ahh, yes i had to add in Chris's mentality in there. I would've counted the tiles if I were him. The breakup, i didn't have that planned that way at first but it felt right to me so i kept going with it. Thanks for the praise, it means a lot to me. The sequel should be up today.
