It suddenly came to me that he was adopted and my voices wanted me to write about that instead of the way Mack was feeling about her parents' divorce. Yes, Chris is too too funny. Ok, FINALLY! SOmeone talks to Mack about what's been going on. I'm glad it's JC and I'm glad he wouldn't take silence for an answer. Threatening to keep her locked in the car, smart plan. (I'd want to stay locked in a car with JC, XD). Anyway, WOW. That whole JC adoption thing...I'm speechless and crying. It's just...you made him sound vulnerable and that was so sweet. And how he wants to help her and how they're proud of her...awwwww....

What can I say about this chapter. The begining was amazing. I loved how you described their sleeping habits. (Joey snoring like a truck, hahaha!) And JC wants to get back together with Nikki? Or not? Hmmm. I like the insight into his thinking. Oh I hope he figures out what's going on with Mack soon.
Aww, Lynn leaving. That scene was so sweet. Justin trying not to cry and acting all macho. And Lynn making sure that Justin and Mack understood that they would need each other now more than ever made me tear up, I'm not kidding. I loved how JC was the one who helped them walk away. I want a "big brother" like him. And the roadtrip idea? Sounds good but something tells me that they're going to be mad at each other by the end of it. And...TWO CHAPTERS LEFT? NOOOOOOO! Well, I can look forward to the sequel.
Author's Response: Yes, the sleeping habits. I needed to write something that fit their personalities and I always imagined Joey the snorer. Does he? I left some hints in the chapter that tells what his response will be. Mack's a very complex person, her secret will come out when the timing is right. And yes, sappy Justin made me tear up a bit.
