Shelby is starting to piss me off. I was sympathetic to her not telling him about Lucas in the beginning, but now I am like JC and it is just getting old. Or maybe I just like taking JC's side which is probably more true than anything...
And can I just say I love the way you write dialogue. Their conversation during dinner seemed so real. In some stories (even published stories) the dialogue seems so forced and made up, but yours is so damn realistic. Love it.
