Okay, so I read this, since you know, after AIWD, I just HAD to read your other stories, duh! It was mandatory, okay? XD
I was so confused, when it ended at Chapter 17 and I was like panicking - LITERALLY going crazy here, thinking that, like...you put it on hiatus or something. O_O But then I saw the link, after getting my damn mind back, so I copy/pasted it into the thing.
And THEN did I read it all. (So, I really don't understand why I'm reviewing, here, when I could have there...) I suh-wear ta GAWD! You are an amazing writer; I am in love with your stories.
Shelby is so cute and I just really want JC, so bad. God, I love him! I'm glad that Melina effed off; I really hated her with a passion - I mean, YOU'RE SO ANNOYING. Leave Shelby alone, you psychopathic, manic stalker-chick. I just really didn't like her. I loved that Joshua and Shelby woman got to be together. :) It was just all so damn cute, haha!
But, uhm, wow! Before this gets any longer, I just wanted to write that I LOVED it. And I will definitely be reading any other story you put up!

I've been taking a break from writing for a bit... I wrote for about 2 yrs straight and started to get all wrapped up weird in it. Hopefully I'll be back with something sometime. OH MY GOD. THIS STORY. It is my favorite! And it makes me sad you haven't updated in awhile :(. But I get why it would be kind of hard...it sort of seems like a lot of the problems have already been solved. BUT SERIOUSLY, I WOULD NOT COMPLAIN IF YOU MADE UP NEW PROBLEMS JUST TO KEEP THIS STORY GOING.
I'm positive this is my favorite JC characterisation EVER. I love him bossy, I love him pervy, I love him needing more, and wanting more than just Thursday nights. Damn. Yeah, I...well, I reaalllllyyyyy hope you update this sometime, because it's SO good.
Author's Response: Hahah wow! thank you! I'm planning to finish All I Wanna Do, first. Get that off my plate and come back to this story. Not sure when but I do need to rewind and come from another angle. You're right, in that I've already solved all of my problems and lost my conflict. It took me MONTHS to figure that out. I really wanted JC to be with Shelby to fight the evil but... it resolves too much conflict too early. It's too easy. I need to make them WORK. Stay tuned. Not giving up, just taking a break! ;)

I'm glad that he recognized (and admitted to) the fact that there's a part of him that wanted to spit when she told him all that stuff, because a lot of it is actually legitimately horrendous and he'd have to be a saint or an idiot (my vote's on the latter) to just coast by that without feeling at all perturbed by it.
That said, I'm happy they made up and did the whole 'I love you" thing cause they are frickin' adorable. And Shelby's not the horrendous hellbitch she once was, so let her not fuck this one up or I'll come find you! haha
Author's Response: I'm so glad my MC is not a hellbitch anymore. YAY! Lol. I struggled with making her storyline sufficiently dramatic and worth holding back, and not wanting him to know about it, but not being too unbelievable.

LMAO! I love JC... soooooo freakin' much in this story it's making my heart hurt!
Now Shelby woman on the other hand... humph! She's lucky I dont know her like that or I'd punch her in the arm every time she had a pesimistic thought about her relationship with JC. I get it... I swear I do. I think I had a lot of patience with her through the story, but that EMAIL just totally crossed the line. I would've expected something like "if you still want to talk to me after this, I'll be at..." or SOMETHING! geeez!
