XxSmurfettexX thank you so much for your kind words.  This story was started by a dear friend several years ago.  I had started writing again and was working on my own story called WORTH THE WAIT.  When she got to her senior year of college she just didn't have the time to work on finishing it and since I followed the story with her closely, she came to me and asked me if I'd finish it for her.  She said she didn't trust anyone else to have the heart to finish it in a way she knew I would. So I finished up my story and then started on LIKE A CHILD and started putting my own twists into it.  It's been posted on several sites but a friend of mine contacted me a few weeks ago and said it was no longer up and my friend April...Sweet Magnolia, put me onto this site and said I could post the chapters myself so here it is.

I'm using this time to review the story so that I can finish it up finally after all this time.  I hope you enjoy it.  I did win the TEARJERKER award a couple of times...lol, so keep the tissues handy.  Anyhow.  Let me know what you think.
