*lets whoosh of air* "Rescued but never saved" *grabs bundle of Kleenex tissues* This was a heart-wrenching story, I read this because it popped up as a random category story, poor JC, he was the last one to go..the rescuers arrived, they tried to save him but they couldn't..and when the rescuers read the blog that Lance wrote, I could just imagine the heartbreak when that occurred.
Such a good story, but definitely sad, a perfect song choice for this particular story is "Here and Now." *tear
OMG! *grabs Kleenex tissues* This chapter had me bawling....Lance?? *tear..
But on a lighter note, there were some funny moments, I laughed when JC was talking about Tombstone pizza, and he was like Pepperoni, and was laughing like an idiot.
I like how JC was apologizing to anything he bumped into “Sorry,” he said as he often did to inanimate objects. It was a habit he’d had since he was a kid. Tables, chairs, doors, anything really…if he happened to bump into them it was always his fault and an apology was in order; or so he thought anyway.
And oh the halos of light appearing in particular spots.. :(
*sad sigh* *reads next chapter*
The part where JC was practicing the speech of what to say to Chris and Justin's family is so overwhelming.. *sad sigh*
I like the part where Lance is typing away in his laptop about thoughts, and Joey wants to know..*reads next chapter*
Chris?? :( CHRIS NO! *tear oh man..this is just so sad. GAH! When Lance started to sing "I've seen fire and I've seen rain." *sad sigh*
Fanfics can really get to you..pretty good job though. :)
Ok these lines here had me all teary
"…Then he’d look into my eyes, Lord knows to my surprise…”
JC smiled and sang softly. “The only boy, who could ever reach me, was the son of a preacher man.”
The singing got louder as he dug through the rubble of broken glass and plastic to get to his friend.
“…he was, he was. Ooooo, yes he was.” Chris looked up at him as if nothing had happened.
“See what happens when we don’t take a bathroom break?”
lolz..leave it to Chris with the humor, but this was sad, cause now he went in shock, the others aren't so good.
Poor Justin.. :(
Author's Response: lol. Mission Accomplished, right? Thanks for reading!
Wow, INTENSE. I suddenly feel so terribly depressed. What a great story with a sad ending :(
