I swear I just sat here for the last I don't know how many hours and read this whole thing straight through. I love you chick, but sometimes your stories piss me off. LOL, just being honest. Or, more specifically, your characters piss me off. That's how awesome you are as a writer because they are so real. Like, legit, your last story made me so mad the way it ended, I was like crying. And I almost never cry at stories. Movies I cry at all the time, but it takes a lot for written words to really get to me. And obviously, you have the ability to do that.
Anyway, so I was a little apprehensive about starting this story because I know how you don't like those happy endings, ha ha. But, I do love the way you write, your characters are honestly so real, so I read this whole thing. First of all, props to you for making Zooey be from Boston. Loved that part. lol Also, I swear we share a brain because you put little details in your story I'm planning to put in my current story. We're always doing something like that. Anyway I'm writing you a book.
I do think that even though it wasn't exactly a happy ending, I thought it was really really good. I've written many homewrecker stories myself ha ha, some with happy endings, one with an ambiguous ending. And sometimes, I feel like that is the appropriate ending. I thought this was an appropriate ending, as well.
Unlike other stories where you hate the chick he's married to or his girlfriend or whatever, you actually like Scarlett in this story (I don't like Scarlett in real life, so congrats on you making her likable to me lol). Actually my favorite chapter was the one where they got married. I loved their vows to each other; that was so real and so awesome.
Anyway... I have verbal diarrhea apparently. Awesome story, frustrating in many regards of course, but it's hard to say how you want a story to end when you like all of the characters so much. Actually, I did want him to be with Zooey, not going to lie. And I'm not sure if I were Scarlett what I would do in real life, but like I said, I thought this was an appropriate ending. It's really hard sometimes to figure out how to end your stories when your readers want different things from you, I know. So bravo, chick. Really really well done!is it wishful thinking or do i smell a sequel?
great job!
Best ending I've seen for one of your stories. Now, that's real.
Sweet Jesus, I Can't believe it's over. And, you know, that was the happiest ending you could've given these two, and I like it. It was so real and so raw and you have such an incredible talent for writing. I'm so happy I got a chance to be a part of this simply by reading it.
Fantastic job.
I look forward to your next masterpiece!
I'm pretty sure it was Em who pushed her more towards Justin and showed her how to handle Scarlett right? Am I tripping on that part.
