lol...and now you know why Kristen is always accusing me of stalking her! I'm not stalking you, I promise. I'm just very observant and I watch (or in your case: read) what people do and say and how they act. I love trying to figure people out. That's part of the reason I'm going into psychology. It fascinates me and I love it! :)
And JC breaks my heart, too! He always seems to get the raw end of the deal...poor guy.

Poor Mayra. Now I feel bad. That's an awful thing to have to go through :( As irrational as her line of thought was, I can definitely see how she could think something like that. If losing people close to you is all you've ever known, of course you'd be scared to get close to someone else.
Ugh. I'm hoping next chapter things get turned around.
Author's Response: yes, it was irrational, but we all do things that are irrational sometimes and then have to live with the consequences. She was scared, and I don't blame her...hopefully JC won't blame her either....
