So I just realized I had comments I didn't respond to. Oops! Glad you liked it.
I don't know what I was expecting when I began to read this, but it definitely didn't turn out to what I thought it'd be. That's a compliment, of course...lol. I'll admit, I was a bit irritated with Sam and her reluctance to acknowledge that JC was into her. BUT after reading the last chapter, I completely understand where she was coming from and it was so much easier to resonate with her. Though, I'm very curious to know what Justin was going to talk to her about. It was hard to picture Justin as the culprit in all this, but it also opens him up to being a deep character if there was something else going on.
Great Awe Aug entry. :]
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review! I appreciate the compliment and the feedback. I can see how Sam could be annoying, but I'm glad she redeemed herself in the end. As for Justin, he's going to talk to Sam about why he was the way he was and why he treated her and the other female staff poorly. Not that he can really have an excuse for behaving that way, more of a "why". I made his apology short and sweet because I didn't want JC to have to wait through that to get the girl! And I wasn't sure that Sam was quite ready to hear Justin out at this point. And to be honest, I'm not completely sure why he was that way either. LOL! I saw him as being a little young and maybe frustrated with being young and being a celebrity and not sure of people's motivations and he starts to take his frustrations out on the people around him because he's not really sure what else to do.
"how many guys can say that their girlfriend can pick them up and throw them across the room?"
HAHAHAHa! Not many! Thanks for posting and participating i Awesome August!
Author's Response:
:) Glad you liked that. Somehow, I could picture JC walking into her self defense mechanism because he's just not expecting it.
Awesome August was fun! These periodic challenges have kept me writing. I have some reading to catch up on!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I had fun with Sammie, especially with tossing guys around over her shoulder. LOL! I had to redeem Justin in the end because I just couldn't leave him as the bad guy. ;)
Author's Response: :) Thanks! I just felt I should apologize because I know how many love him. LOL. I'm glad you kept reading!
*squee* Ooh I like this, and Backstage pass is right.. :P I love that all the guys were trying to put the moves on her one by one..Chris is too funny. LOL!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading & reviewing! Chris is fun to write because he is just that little bit whacky and he admits it, so it's easy to play with that. I had a bit of fun with Sam being so sarcastic to Justin too.
Author's Response: Thank you! I thought throwing Justin was poetic justice. I was envisioning other fates for him like being left hanging in his harness, but this seemed more fitting.
