So sorry to hear about your mother passing away. My father passed away over a year ago. I understand what losing a parent does to a person. Take the time you need to cry, laugh, grieve, get angry. Everybody grieves differently. Give yourself time. You are in my prayers.
I love this story and I am still trying to figure out if I like Melissa or not. I'm not completly sold on her yet. I love that Addy and Lance are cutesy. You are such a talented writer. Take your time and you will find the characters voices again when you are ready.

Yay, an update! But, I do understand the circumstances around everything. I really enjoyed this chapter though. Mel is right, Addy and Lance are cutsey and they had more in common then anyone would've previously thought.
Oooh, the ending was so great, yet so bone chilling. It was great.

Chapter 7 - Double Date From Hell)
No! Chris! Mel! Things were going so well. (I didn't mean to rhyme). Lance's last line was great. I was basically holding my breath during this chapter, hoping the dinner would work out.
PS: Is it bad that I laughed at the "why don't you go get laid" part from Mel?
