Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this chapter. I was worried it would be too boring, being a filler and all. Now on to Kiki and her love life which is the last thing she's concerned about for two reason. One - she's focused on giving Cheyenne a stable home and a healthy childhood. Two - like you siad she's been burned, for the second time, this time worse and she doesn't want to go through that again. But just because I didn't mention it in this chapter does it mean Kiki didn't date during those 20 months. ;) I too feel bad for Justin, but its more in a piteous way because he's making his own life hell. Would I kill Kiki? Hmm? I don't know. I guess you're going to have to sit on that edge for a little bit longer. Tehehe :) Thanx 4 reviewing Dani!
You have done a great job going through the first year and a half for Cheyanne and Kiki. That is a happy healthy little girl, who is loved by everyone that comes into contact with her. Kiki has dedicated her life to making that happen. I also noticed the lack of love life for Kiki..I suppose that is not a priority for her right now..but still feel bad for her. She has one serious relationship that is over before it can begin, and she gets burned.
I can't feel bad for Justin..no matter how much he seems to be suffering. The fact that he is in pain is the only thing that makes his character tolerable at this point. I am literally on the edge of my seat to see how this is all going to change.. PLEASE don't let it involve Kiki dying though...*puppy dog eyes* You wouldn't do that though..Right? lol
Happy to see an update! It was wonderful as always. Can't wait for the next!

Author's Response: He most certainly does need Cheyenne and that is something he didn't consider when he initially decided to walk away. Now its eating him alive, feeling her absence from his life. Those senses of his will be coming back soon and maybe even painfully. Thanx for reviewing!

that was sooo good. I kind of feel bad for justin but really its his own falt as to why heis not involved in his daughters life and I hope he will grow some huge balls soon before its too late.

Author's Response: Yeah Justin did pass right by his chance to make ammends when Lynn called, but he's still letting his fears/stupidity/selfishness get the best of him. He's running out of chances to do the right thing not only for Cheyenne, but himself. rnrnJustin doesn't want the public to know he's a loser absentee father, but it really wouldn't make a difference. You can be an absentee parent and be living in the same house as your child. Its ironic but Justin wants to be a real father, he's just afraid that he won't be able to do it and he'd rather run and hide than stick around and try. In his mind he thinks its worse to let Cheyenne get attached before he finds out that he can't be a good father and leaves as opposed to never being there in the first place and therefore, "sparing" her. He doesn't understand that both cases are just as bad.rnrnLynn has always like Kiki and now she can relate what she's going through so she wants giving Kiki whatever support she needs. rnrnI couldn't decide which name I wanted to give the baby so I choose both. awww this was so bittersweet. kiki really needed justin and she was extending an olive branch to him, and of course he has to go mess it up. I think I've mentioned it before but he needs a smack. A really hard one across the head.
