Welcome to our annual celebration of Chris Kirkpatrick! This is a standard NF challenge, but the rules are detailed below as usual.  

This challenge runs until November 17th. Post your story as normal, then come to this challenge and click 'RESPOND TO THE CHALLENGE' 

Remember to:

a) have fun

b) abide by challenge rules

c) leave a comment, feedback, or rating... and lastly

d) be KIND. I do not play about the writers here. Writing is hard, posting your work here is like baring your soul. This is not a place where cruelty will be accepted as objective criticism. Be honest but tactful.

- Must feature a member of *NSYNC! (x-over to other fandoms ok!)

- Stories must be complete by end of challenge! Unfinished stories will be removed from the challenge when it is complete, but will remain in your account. Feel free to add it back once complete. 

- Please, no deathfic. These stories should pop! in celebration of Chris' birthday

- No minimum length! Drabbles, scenelets, short stories & novel length are ok!

Uh Oh! The members of *NSYNC are incarcerated...now what?

Requirements:

x. must include at least *2* members of *NSYNC. (But we encourage you to try and use all 5!)

x. part of the action must take place inside the walls of a prison of some kind

Miscellaneous:

x. be creative. of course, you're authors. this goes without saying. ;-)

x. you can make it long or short, somber or silly. any genre, any rating. as long as a prison is part of the plot, go crazy.  

POP!Tober is an *NSYNC Fiction writing challenge that runs from October 1-31.  It is short, COMPLETE, stories that POP! 

Rules
1. Obviously, the story needs to be about an *NSYNCer or the group. You can include anyone you want, as long as the main character is a member of *NSYNC

2. This works the same as Awesome August- a brand new story everyday. October 17th is Chris' birthday, so anyone who wants to write a Chris centric story is encouraged to sign up on that day. 

3. There is no length minimum or maximum, no genre limits, but your story must be COMPLETE by the end of your assigned day. 

4. I've included some prompts that you can use if you need a boost. If you use a prompt, please mark it in your story notes. Check the Stillnsync forum for the list of prompts! 

5. Signups are open September 1- September 30 or until the challenge is full.
