Bravo. Bra-freakin'-vo. Working on telling the story of frustration and longing in an age-gap relationship is tough but, girl, you knocked it out of the park! Like I said, it's a realistic take that I'm very appreciative of and found very satisfying even if they aren't together here (which, I mean, you can always add an epilogue in the future to see what happens. Just sayin'. No pressure.)

As you know, I love reading Zahra and JC no matter which way I get it. Her sass coupled with his fact-based outlook is something I'll eat up with a spoon no matter how many different ways you serve it. And I think what makes me so connected is I get it.

I get that feeling of wanting to be with someone that just doesn't view you the same way for one reason or another. You have a way of putting my feelings down on paper that makes me feel less crazy for having them in the first place. An artiste, you are! Also, very motivating I have to say. After reading this, it's kicked me in the ass to get more of my own nsync fics done. I've written bits and pieces over the years but now this has really jumpstarted me diving back in.

Thank you for writing this. Thank you for sharing with us. Thank you for helping me feel seen. Love ya!

I already said this on twitter but I'm reiterating it just so you know how serious I am: seeing your name on the recently updated list made me so goddamn happy! I love reading your work! You're writing is so strong; I can see and hear everything that happens perfectly! Idk how I missed this chapter (well, the site was reverted at one point so maybe that's how?) but still I enjoyed it because I can see both sides to their problem.

You have a very nice and realistic take to the age gap between them; JC being hesitant becuase he's so much older is very him and very real (five years may not be a lot to Zahra but on JC's end it's the difference between dating and jailbait). Whereas, on Zahra's side, the teenage rose tinted glasses are in effect which is very real and true to people around her age.

Their endless merry-go-round is a ride I don't want to see end but, of course, there has to be some sort of conclusion somewhere. Hopping over to the next one to see how this wraps up!

The tension between them is so crazy. I can't wait to see where this goes!

Ugh, the last line hit me hard. Im sure everyone's felt that or something to that degree at one point or another. It really sucks. I wanna give Zee a hug. Please update again soon!

Author's Response: Right. Having to go back and write Zahra after I'd already fleshed out who she was, it was difficult not to accidentally change her. But like putting down an instrument and picking it up once more, everything naturally fell into place.

Atta girl!  Glad you decided to keep this new one going.

Kudos to Zee for calling JC out on his double standards of gender roles.  Pounce on that man and teach him a lesson.  LOL!

Author's Response: Definitely, I made sure to get out what I wanted to get out and finish it before I posted.

Damn Zahra, get it girl! JC just needs to quit playing games and get down with the fact that girls can go after what they want too. I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Exactly, she has pride, but so does he and sometimes it results in them butting heads (for YEARS down the line).

I wouldn't be able to resist either. I love the friends turned lovers theme, always my favorite. I look forward to more!

Welcome back! I think we all cringe at our earlier writings and sometimes at our current! I remember reading your Justin, JC, the basment and Me. story years ago and liked it! Hopefully your muse keeps talking and you can keep posting!

Author's Response: Right, I cringe often and end up having to go back, lol. But thanks for the welcome back. Hopefully I will be able to post more things.

I read this series not long ago and loved it.  I think most writers are super critical of ourselves.  Hope you continue with this.

Author's Response:

Indeed, very critical. Sometimes it helps, but it can also be a hindrance.

Thanks!

Girl, I think you put too much pressure on yourself sometimes. But that's how it goes for us writers, doesn't it? We're never satisified with our own work. But! I have to say that I am super excited to see the JC, JT, Me series (or the Basement series as I like to call it) is back in action! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us! Welcome back!

Author's Response:

I sure do, but you know it is. My return is nothing. I'm waiting for YOUR return. I hope it'll be soon. :D

Thanks!

*My heart* I think you know how much I love the JC, JT, & Me series, so I'm excited to see you back!

I get the whole cringe-worthy writing thing, believe me, I almost deleted my stories on multiple occasions. I kow that an author is always their toughest critic, but I really love the series and the way you wrote it (I read it twice). This series is one of my favorite fanfics.

Ok, I'm done awkwardly fangirling now. Welcome back!

Author's Response:

I DO know how much you love the series. You've been a very loyal reader and reviewer, and I'm very grateful for that considering how I feel now about the series.

Thanks!

screams* *then gets bundles of Kleenex tissues*

OMG! I am SO freakin happy! I'm crying happy tears!

Can JC be my husband?? *happy sigh*

These lines here: "I can't believe you want to marry me," I said.

"Well believe it. You get to have all of this every night," he smiled. I chuckled, and hugged him tightly.

That is beautiful.. :) What a great ending! They've been through so freakin much together..I really enjoyed this story lots!

I hope when I wake up tomorrow I'll see rose petals in my room and JC standing in the living room with a goofy grin on his face..NOT..LOL but hey one can dream.. :P

Author's Response:

As always, thanks for your entertaining reviews.

I felt so much remorse after posting it, because I had the feeling that I may have rushed it...but at the same time I didn't want to drag it on and lose essence. I don't know....I guess it's too late now.

Oh my God! Finally! This was perfect! Now, you know you have to make a sequel about their wedding!, right?!

Author's Response:

Thanks for your support, it's appreciate it.

And....well, you never know. =]
