I just want to say, before I go into further detail, that this story was absolutely superb.

I found Justin to be exactly as I envision him in my head.  He's silly, goofy, fun, and (at times) a 5 year old child.  But he also has this incredibly endearing quality to him that makes girls melt in their shoes.

Ally was this fabulously complex person.  She is insecure, jealous, spunky, and just so REAL.

I want my best friend to be Trace from this story.  His personality is off the charts.  His one-liners had me rolling in my chair.  But he had this perfect personality trait that would take him to the comforting best friend level in an instant. 

Lauren is exactly like every female family member that I have living in Tennessee.  She is warm and compassionate and everything that little girls want to be when they grow up.

Now for the story:

This story was incredibly well written.  I thought the dialogue was great.  There was never a moment where I was left unfocused.

Often I find that writers lean on dialogue or narrative too much.  This story had a great balance of both.

I think I enjoyed this story so much because it was a feel good, sweet read.  There were enough twists and turns to keep me interested.  In the end, it was just very real.

Lovely story.  I am excited to read the sequel.

hmmm...ok intrigued. my flu-ridden self is finally starting this. i like the premise, thus far.
