...and here we go...  oh! i meant to ask you this when i read the last chapter, is the title of this story referencing the song by india.arie?  off of her new album?

Author's Response: Yay, Jaz! To be quite honest, I had no knowledge of that song until this moment, but I'm looking at the lyrics and seeing how much they relate, and I like! The title kinda came about because a friend of mine said she thought of the color yellow whenever she saw me lol. I liked that concept, so I ran with it! But yeah, now I have something new to reference... Thanks!

OMG! It was NOT innocent! They are lying to themselves and are in denial if they really believe that. And you see? This is going down a bad bad road. I can just see Scarlett getting upset and asking Jusitn who Zooey is. Ugh. lol.

I'm loving this but the complexity of Justin and Zooey's situation is making me nervous. It would have been too easy to have him single. No, he had to be engaged on the verge of marriage to meet the one woman who could fuck it all up for him. haha. I loved the conversation between them, especially when they were talking about relationships. I kind of don't want Zooey to be a homewrecker because I really love Scarlett in this. And unless she changes and becomes evil, I'll feel bad if Justin and Zooey hook up. But don't get me wrong, I still want them to hook up. haha. Point is, it looks like someone will eventually get hurt.

And I'm glad the complicatedness of it all is making you nervous, that's pretty much what I'm going for lol. I couldn't make it easy, that would be boring for all of us!
