It kinda doesn't surprise me that she has stage-fright, considering she hasn't really been in front of an audience aside from dancing (and even then how much is one looking at the audience when dancing?)

One Month Anniversary...)
Another great chapter! I'm so glad Mack got to see her Dad, they're so cute!
I can't believe Mack didn't say anything to Bobbie when she questioned Mack's ability to be a girl. Maybe Mack's maturing a little? lol I don't know but I feel like she's a ticking time bomb as far as Bobbie's concerned.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

TOTALLY! WOOT! Ok..let me start from the top...love the part where Chris enters the room and makes jokes about Mack, then talks about JC of being a mastermind..HA!and Im also glad that Fatima actually apologized to her..properly..Yayy! And this part made me laugh so freakin hard.. "Might as well show people I have a brain in this head.”“Too bad you don’t usually use it. It’s growing cobwebs,” Justin laughed. I smiled sweetly. “Kinda like your dick, right?” ROFL! And lastly, the part where all the girls are getting ready fpr the night out! Oh what fun! I wanna be there in all that commotion..LOLZ what an exciting chapter..Thanks for updating! Good job.. :D

Well I'll be damned, Mack opened her eyes. Sadie is a genius. I loved the conversatrion between Mack and Mamaw, it was much needed. All the talk between Rachel & Trace about Mack forgetting about them really shows how burned they must feel with Justin. And I suspect that something similar may happen with Mack. She loses her way when she cuts the Justin-bilical cord. Great job!
Author's Response: She has finally seen the light and it's name is Sadie, haha.
Talking for Mack is much needed since she bottles everything up but yes, she needed to know that Mamaw loves her unconditionally. Same with Rachael and Trace although you're right when they say that they're burned. But it's baby steps for her to realize all the things she's done wrong. Baby steps, but she'll get there =).
Justin-bilical cord? Now that's a nice way of putting it, gave me a good idea actually. Thanks for the review!

Memphis Part 1)
I didn't realize I'd missed three chapters while I was away, but I'm glad I'm catching up. To be honest, this was a good chapter. Mack is really going through a rough time, and I truly think she's going through it along. She's being forced to grow up, and grow up quick. Her icy exterior is really cracking, and I think soon her big 'meltdown' might happen. Great job, keep up the good work! Great job on blanketing/cushioning the serious topics with humor/sarcasm.
Author's Response: Yay for catch-ups. If it were me I'd be like a slave to my computer to make sure I didn't stop until I read everything I missed. =)
At the end of the day, you're right, she is going through it alone. The others have a group of people to rely on but all she has is herself and, as you can see, it's starting to take it's toll on her. My forecast: a meltdown in the not-too-distant future. Thanks for the kind words!

Wow! Mack can give a nice little speech to Mamaw on the phone..well said girl :) Ok..love the scene where Mack, Trace, and Rachel were all in the kitchen eating pie, and Miss Sadie and Bill being all lovey dovey and giving Mack lectures.. LOLZ! Totally love the Southern Hospitality as well..thanks for the update! :D Good job..
