Author's Response: Lucky does sort of seem like the "Basket Case" doesn't she? I wanted to create a character so vastly different from Leah's, and show despite their differences, they're still best friends. And heck, who knows? Maybe Nikki's being genuine, or maybe Lucky's right! Anyways, I'm glad that you enjoyed it, and thanks for the review!
OMG! The flashback felt like SUCH a painful experience, poor Leah had to watch JC and Nikki totally getting it on, while she was crying and feeling so helpless thinking that breaking up with him was the worst thing ever.. Ughh.. :(
Lucky kind of scared Justin. She seemed nice, but damn was that girl dark. And Lucky reminds me of that girl from "The Breakfast Club" she wore dark clothes always quiet.. lolz
Now on to the present, Nikki is trying to be friends with her again after all these years, hmph. I would probably take Lucky's word, and ignore her for a bit..
