This story was amazing. Truly amazing. I feel like I've gone through every single emotion while reading this story. Like I was right there living it with the characters. Lol  It really felt so real and once I started to read it Thursday night I didn't even want to stop. I know you don't shy away from tragedy; you let your characters take on some hard stuff and it always makes me s.ightly wary to read them honestly. Cause I just get so into it and then I'm all emotuonal...crying and angry and sad. Lol it's ridiculous really, but after I make it through the story I'm always so glad I read it because you really are talented and your stories draw me in. I always want a happy ending though because in real life you don't always get them so i like to escape to a place where things end on a good note. So you can see my dilema when i read your stories. Im never sure what I will get. LOL but I am glad that I take the chance afterwards. Anyway this was so good. I was legit furious at Preston and what he was putting Betsy through. Obviously I didn't like him from the get go, and Betsy was annoying the crap out of me thinking he was going to change back and how she'd get one glimpse of the old Preston and just have total amnesia of what a jerk he is 99% of the time. I mean if anybody treated and talked to my family the way he treated her brother he would've been long gone. Wouldn't have even got the the engagement. But anyway obviously didnt like him or his family or Darcy, but I also didn't like Trace. Like I get you've gone through some stuff and DCF was horrible to you but he just continued to judge Betsy time and time again no matter what she did and went through. He is seriously a jerk to me. And I feel like his advice for Justin to get married to Val and move to Boston was less about Val and more about keeping Justin away from Betsy because he still thinks she's the devil even after everything. He probably would've suggested Justin marry the stranger down the street that was moving to Australia as long as it would've kept him away from Betsy. Anyway, I loved Betsy's character though. The good hearted part of her that wanted to help and felt connected to Ava from the very beginning, even if it stemmed from her own difficult young life. I wanted to slap her when she went to Chicago and when she started doing drugs. Lol I wanted to slap Justin for not being there for her throughout everything. He was being insensitive and I was like after every freaking thing Betsy did for you and this is how you help her out during her time of need?! Val had a great point when she spoke to Justin about her. And her brother expecting her to just go back to the way things were. I mean did they every find out the extent of everything Preston did to her? I feel like they didn't (not from her or authroties) cause if they did they wouldn't expect her to be back to normal after a week or even a month. 3 months of that physical, verbal, and mental abuse. That's not something that you can easily recover from. But Carter is truly a good person and I enjoyed his character as well. Moving on... I just loved Ava and i loved her relationship with Betsy. I wanted to be like Justin listen to your little girl. Think of her. The one you fought tooth and nail to get back in your life. You need to out her first in everything, not Val. Luckily his senses kicked in before it was too late. I'm so happy this story had a happy ending for everybody. I love that Justin, Ava, and Betsy were finally able to become a family. That Justin and Betsy were finally able to love each other freely without anything or anybody holding them back. Anyway this review is long enough, but I just loved this emotional roller coaster ride. Amazing job. :o)

I was so excited to get home cuz being away from the Internet for the weekend was killing me cuz I couldn't catch up on this story. So Valerie turned out to be and uber bitch! Did not expect that but so glad to see that Betsy and Justin have a chance eventually. And kudos to both of them for realizing that though feelings are still there it may not be the right time. Can't wait to see what happens!!!
