AML. That's what my mum had. She was diagnosed and taken straight into isolation. Her first visit home wasn't for a month. It was a terrible time and I don't envy Joey having to receive that news.

So glad to hear your mom is doing well. Passing the five year mark is a huge step, isn't it. We have one more year to go. I wonder if Joey will need a bone marrow transplant...

Author's Response: Any kind of cancer is awful. I wouldn't wish it on anybody, and I mean ANYBODY. At least Joey stands a better chance than some people, but he's not getting better in a hurry and it's not gonna be pretty.

I'm glad your mom's cancer was treatable, that is so good to know.. *hugs*

Now, on to the chapter, poor Joey, and the reaction of the guys have no words.. :(

I would like to read the next chapter so i can find out whats gonna happen next..

Author's Response: Yeah, that was the good news, but it was awful to hear that it was cancer to begin with, and she didn't get better in a hurry. For a while, I wasn't sure I was going to make it myself. I kept wishing it was some nightmare that I could wake up from and everything would be okay. So you can tell that I know what I'm talking about in this story. In spite of the grim topic, it actually feels good to write something like this; sort of therapeutic, you could call it. And I'm being merciful and giving Joey a chance for recovery, too. Feel free to read this any time and leave as many reviews as you like.
