One day at a time. Very true. They have a long road ahead of them, but they'll all get through it together. Hope they can all be strong for Joey.

Author's Response: That's how I got through it, one day at a time, and friends, family, and God kept me going. While I still wish my mom never had cancer, I can't very well say I'd give up those priceless life lessons.

These lines here: You’ll get through this the same way everybody else does, sir—one day at a time.” Hopefully I think Joey would overcome this, he has his four best friends to be there with him through thick and thin, and this is not gonna be an easy task, it'll be difficult, though I have never(nor anyone that I know) experienced something like this, and I don't wish this for anyone.. :( But I love the fact that you are writing this and you can show readers about the experieces you had with your mom regarding this.

Okay so I want to go into a corner and bawl my eyes out over a story. I lost a Papaw to cancer and know many people going through or have gone through it. I love all of the feelings and emotions and everything else you write in and can't wait for more. :)
Author's Response: Sorry if I'm making you cry, but that also pleases me because it means my story's convincing. Since I plan to be a REAL author someday, this is a valuable skill.
