Wow.  Finally, Kerri and Justin collide.  And Trace's foot with Justin's gut.  Wow.  It's an exhale moment even though there's still tons of tension here.  Curious to see how you unravel all of this, but let me just say: these people need therapy.  Fo REAL.  Talk therapy, group therapy, 12 step programs... these are some broken folks who need to heal and I still cannot get over that Justin - a kidnapping victim, a rape survivor-turned-cutter and a physically aggressive/abusive guy - gets to stop seeing his therapist and someone doesn't immediately replace her with another highly paid professional is so beyond the scope of my understanding.

Yet, I still find myself hanging in there to see where all of this winds up.

Author's Response: Yeah its kind of...crazy, looking back on everything I wrote in this story. Itll always be my baby but...for now, it's on a temporary pause.  I commend you for getting through it though. It really is whacked out haha.

i haven't left a review in a while, lol, but I LOVED this chapter. It was very intense and I'm kinda relieved that Kerri and Justin have made contact again.

I think that if Justin and Kerri worked on their friendship again, they'd be able to get over what happened to them quicker. Deep down inside, they are both looking for forgiveness from one another and they both need to know that they still love each other, just as friends. I know Mel doesn't know anything about Justin and Kerri, but i think she and Trace need to back off and let Justin and Kerri breathe.

I think Kerri gets the short end of the stick too. How can she move on with her life if she doesn't have a support system to lean on? Everybody turns their back on her and expects her to pick up the pieces on her own, which obviously, isn't working...

I don't know, I just want Justin and Kerri to get themselves back together as friends. God, was that long enough? LOL, GREAT UPDATE!!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for that :) I'm glad that you loved the update and don't worry things can't be bad forever...just like in real life :)

why does kerri get the short end of the stick? i mean why did you pick her to get the most crap. i love the story, don't think i don't but when i read about how bad she gets treated by her supposed friends and family it makes me upset. i mean trace saying that stuff about replacing her with melanie, i was like he is the worst kind of friend & somebody should punch him again. one thing i want to know is how long before people find out about justin kicking the crap out of kerri. you can't keep that kind of thing a secret and not expect someone to tell.

Author's Response: First of all, I really appreciate the fact that you've been sticking with this story. I'm not entirely sure how many people have been reading this, since I had to take it down once upon a time and put it back up again.  I pour my heart and soul into it, and the fact that people actually enjoy it means more to me than anything.  As for Kerri, she's a very tough character to understand.  I know the story has a lot too it, and maybe the things she does and says to make people stray away from her get lost in the mix, I'm not really sure.  From my standpoint, she's just as much at fault for her misery as Justin and Trace are.  Trace in particular, is trying to move on with his life.  He has that void inside of him because once upon a time He Justin and Kerri were inseperable best friends, now that all of that has changed, he's been trying hard to keep his sanity and balance friendships with Justin and Kerri separately.  I don't think I've made him out to be the "bad guy" so to speak, just somebody that's trying to work on his life a little bit and keep his friendships in check.  With Mel added into the mixture of his life, he sort of feels like a strong bond of friendship between himself Justin and her is forming.  I guess it's selfish of him in some form to feel like Melanie is taking Kerri's place, but at the same time...she sort of is in a way.  She doesn't bring him stress, while it seems to be all Kerri can do, because she's constantly crying to him instead of trying to better herself.  I don't know if any of that makes sense, it's just what runs through my head lol. In any case, I hope you still keep reading, and thank you for your input :)
