I ignore those tabloids completely, some of those celebs like all that attention to give them more exposure, its really ridiculously insane, but we can't change society, they gotta change within themselves.

Now, on to this chapter, poor Chris... :( he's SUCH a nice guy, so glad that was able to tell guys about what happened b/tween him and Allie.

I'll read more soon... :)

Author's Response:

You'd think people had better things to gossip about. I really feel for Chris, and for people in real life who find out the hard way that they've been duped. True, Chris and Allie aren't "married," but she was still his girlfriend and he was totally committed to her; he would have never done something like this to her. People are not toys, and it's sad to see them being treated as such. At the very least, the other guys are being nice about this, including Joey.

Take all the time you need, sweetie. There's no time limit.

YOU TELL THEM CHRIS! WOO!

These lines here:

“Whoa, hey, pal,” said Landon, taking a step forward, “take a Chill Pill. It ain’t like she’s married to you or nothing. You got no more claims to her than any other dude—”

“Shut your mouth, Scruffy.”

HA! LOL

But I SO knew that Allie has been screwing around behind Chris's back all along, pssh, with Scruffy..

*reads next chapter*

Author's Response: I still wanted to use that guy from the theater, who knocked Jamie down and only left her with an insult. So I made him the guy that Allie turned to when Chris couldn't be there, and as you can tell, he's a hard guy to get along with and he can get just as whiny as her when things don't go his way. Don't want to give too much away, but let's just say we haven't seen the last of our buddy Scruffy.

Ok, finally caught up! I'm really enjoying this story and the whole idea of it. There aren't a lot of Chris stories and I don't read a lot of them, but this is keping me on y toes with each chapter. I can't wait to see more. Update whenever you can.

Author's Response: At least it gave you something to do! (Hee, hee.) I know Chris isn't everyone's favorite member, but I just had to show him a little more love. Glad you're enjoying yourself, matey.

theusagirl (Signed) on Aug 13, 2015 11:19 pm (Chapter 6: Insecurities)

I know I am! :D This story is turning out great! And yes, Britney Spears: Lucky, I have it downloaded on my mp3 player..among many others 80s, 90s, and early 00s..and that includes *NSYNC..lolz I listen to all that stuff in my car that has seen better days, but I love it..LOL

Anyways, these lines here: Chris sucked in a deep breath and let it out slowly through rounded lips. How could he describe it? In another minute he managed to say, “Sometimes I get the sense that no one sees me or appreciates me as I truly am.”  AWWW! :D Chris you are SO ADORABLE! We appreciate you LOTS for who you are a person! :D

Now Jamie, go call Chris! I know I would, well, I'm don't like calling on the phones much, but I did call Lance on Dirty Pop and Chris on the Baub show once..that was fun! Long story..lolz

I'll read more soon! :)

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! I feel the story itself is worth telling, but it's also the enthusiasm of my readers that keeps me going. That's why I love reviews the way I do.

I know Britney gets a lot of hate, and I'll admit she's not my most favorite person in the world, but I do enjoy her music. I can think of few songs sadder or more meaningful than "Lucky."

As much as Chris loved (and still loves) being part of *NSYNC, I'm sure he had those moments when he felt like people only saw him and cared about him as a celebrity. That's what makes their song "Celebrity" especially profound. To quote JC, "Do you want me or do you want what I can buy you?" Sure, I want enough money to live comfortably, but I want a good man, too. At the risk of ripping off the Beatles, money can't buy me love!

You'll need to tell me more about those calls to Lance and Chris. I MUST have the details!

theusagirl (Signed) on Aug 13, 2015 11:05 pm (Chapter 5: Hindsight)

Now Nat and Jamie who Chris is really is! A member of the greatest popgroup of all time...*NSYNC *insert fangirl screams* :D

Now these lines here: “Knowing you, Nat, you could scare them off just by looking at them. No one gives the evil eye like you do.” HA! Talk about a death glare..I do that sometimes, complete with a fist..LOL

But overall, I'm a very nice and caring person.. :)

Now, about Chris and Allie, no sh*t, she probably is dating some dude right under Chris's nose...I must know! *reads next chapter*

Author's Response:

Yeah, Jamie and Nat are both *NSYNC fans, but they're the more mature, toned-down fans. They adore the music and they certainly wouldn't say no to meeting any of the guys in person, but they also understand the guys are still people like them and therefore deserve privacy and respect. Neither of the girls would have been part of that crowd that chased the guys out of the theater.

When it comes to death glares, Nat is the master. For that matter, never underestimate the lady when she's angry. Where Jamie would try to dodge a confrontation, Nat would march directly into the fray with her head held high.

I know the answer, but I'll let the next chapter do the talking.

THIS: Why can’t I be a more normal, average person? Why can’t I go out and grab a burger, see a movie, or just walk down the street like anybody else?

Some famous people enjoy all the attention, others don't, I honestly, I don't like alot of attention, I'm the kind of girl that observes everything from a distance and then make my move if the time is right... :)

But now Allie, which is Chris's girlfriend right?? Hmm..let me read to find out... *reads next chapter* :D

Author's Response:

I'd be somewhere in the middle. I like to be noticed, but I also value my privacy as much as any person.

And yep, that's Chris's girl, Allie. The one he'd been griping about at the very beginning.

theusagirl (Signed) on Aug 13, 2015 10:52 pm (Chapter 3: Chance Encounter)

HAHAHAHAHA! :D

“More like three stomachs,” said Chris. “Or even four, like a cow.”

“Mmrrrroooooooo.” Joey held his forefingers over either side of his head and mimed chewing a cud, which sent all four guys into a laughing fit.

I also love that *NSYNC are at the movies, these lines here..SO TRUE! LOL

As if the words were a cue, a deafening scream rang out and some pubescent voice wailed, “Oh, my gosh! It’s ‘N Sync!”

That was all it took to light the fuse.

Now a whole slew of people, with females making up at least eighty percent, were shouting and hollering and stirring up a positively hysterical scene.

“‘N Sync!”

“It’s ‘N Sync!”

“‘N Sync, here?”

“I don’t believe it!”

“You’re kidding!”

“Shut up!”

“Justin!”

“Chris!”

“Justin!”

“JC!”

“Justin!”

“Chris!”

“Lance!”

“JUSTIN!”

“Lance, I love you!”

“Marry me, JC!”

“Hey, Joey!”

“RUN!” Joey urged his mates, none of whom needed telling twice.

LOVED IT! :D I can imagine all the guys running out of the theater..HA!

*reads next chapter*

Author's Response: Great for the fans, not so great for the guys!

theusagirl (Signed) on Aug 12, 2015 10:03 pm (Chapter 2: At the Movies)

I've completely forgot about this story! LOL I had to refresh my mind a bit.

I honestly haven't seen Moulin Rouge either, just the song back in 2000..haha.

But I agree, I have a major soft spot for Chris, and he would do something like this to someone, especially for that girl Jamie, she reminds me of myself, even the hazel eyes give it away... :) Except that I'm way taller than her..lolz

I'll read more soon... :)

Author's Response:

I don't blame you. This thing's been left alone for almost a year. Now I'm getting my spark back, which I'll take as a good omen. I'm forever starting stories, but you know I've got a good story (and how I feel about it) when I'm able to keep it going.

I saw a few MR clips on YouTube, and I thought, "Dang, don't watch this thing if you're already feeling blue." That's how I feel about Edward Scissorhands, too. Good story, impressive effects, dazzling music, but SHEESH!

I'd say I'm about the same height as Chris: 5 foot 6. Jamie's, what, 5 foot 2 or 3.

chris_girl86 (Signed) on Aug 11, 2015 11:00 pm (Chapter 1: Uptown Boy, Backstreet Girl)
Wow,this story is really good. Been trying to find new Chris' stories on here and this one is perfect.
I don't like Allie much, she is a really witch. I can't wait to see what happens.

Author's Response:

Thank you. Nothing wrong with JC and Justin stories, of course. But I sometimes feel Chris doesn't get half the love he deserves. After all, he was the mastermind behind the group in the beginning. And he just seems like such a sweet, fun, slightly goofy guy. So I'm glad to make my humble contribution.

And thank you for the review. It means a lot to me.

DiamondDoss (Signed) on Aug 01, 2015 09:40 pm (Chapter 5: Hindsight)
Poor guys. I can't imagine going to the grocery store and people mobbing me in the frozen foods section. "Dude, I'm just here to buy a pizza."

Author's Response: Fame may be nice in some ways, but there comes a time when you just want a moment of peace, a sense of "normalcy."

DiamondDoss (Signed) on Aug 01, 2015 09:37 pm (Chapter 4: Unlucky Discovery)
As Chris set out on his own, he heard Joey shout, “I wonder if this is how Shaggy and Scooby felt when the ghosts were after them!”

I literally laughed out loud at that statement from Joey. And bravo..so excited to see you updated!

Author's Response: A nice little shout-out to Scooby-Doo, which I was also fairly crazy about as a kid. Today, I'm a lot more mellow, but I still enjoy an episode here and there.

AceofSpades (Signed) on Aug 01, 2015 04:32 pm (Chapter 4: Unlucky Discovery)

Aww, you're stopping there? You're right though, a chapter doesn't need to be long to have o much drama and tension in it.

Imagine Chris having to run away from adult fans now. haha. Great chapter.

Author's Response:

Don't worry, I'm already planning out the next chapter. I hate being kept in suspense as much as the next writer. Then again, it means you'll stay tuned in!

Wouldn't THAT be a sight! I don't know if he ever had to literally run for his life, but I do know his privacy was frequently violated. Fans would be calling them at three in the morning and spying on them in the most unexpected places; Joey once told a story of two girls who were hiding under a dining room table. Now that, my friend, is definitely taking it too far.

AceofSpades (Signed) on Jul 31, 2015 11:55 am (Chapter 3: Chance Encounter)

You're right, there aren't a lot of Chris stories so I'm glad you're writing this one. I'll admit Chris isn't my favorite of the group, but I'm really enjoying this story.

Can't wait to see more.

Author's Response: I always had a soft spot for the underdog. And like I said, it felt great to write a funny chapter for once.

AceofSpades (Signed) on Jul 31, 2015 10:42 am (Chapter 2: At the Movies)
Everyone's going to see Moulin Rouge, eh? Chris was so funny in this chapter and you've captured him well. Off to chapter 3

Author's Response: Then again, that movie was a tremendous hit. If you thought this chapter was funny, wait until you read chapter 3.

AceofSpades (Signed) on Jul 31, 2015 10:30 am (Chapter 1: Uptown Boy, Backstreet Girl)
Oooh, great start. I'm interested to see where it goes. Celebrity is one of my all time favorite songs.

Author's Response: Glad you're liking it so far. Hope the rest of the story lives up to your expectations.
