HA! These lines here: He was a very handsome bulldozer, but one just the same..

Its a little thing we call love, or just an innocent crush.. ;) Its a beautiful feeling.. *happy sigh*

Anyways, would like if Cassandra does take the job at WEG, clerical stuff may be good for her, that way she can get away from creepy Thomas, and I liked that Justin was also trying to help her out as well, aww come on JC, don't be jealous, Justin may have a point.. :P

Good chapter, looking forward for more... :D Thanks for all the updates though!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your reviews! I'm so glad you're enjoying the story.  Yes, indeed, JC is a very handsome bulldozer!  I do believe he could move heaven and earth if he were so inclined. I've been offline for a bit, but am very grateful for your opinions.  I hope you keep enjoying the story - there are still a few chapters left!  :)

39 years, wow-wee. It seems like only yesterday we were watching the guys in their teens and 20s. Nice way to commemorate JC’s special day, too.

“He held it to his ear and muttered some unintelligible greeting into the mouthpiece.” Oh boy, don’t you just love a call first thing in the morning?

Maybe Justin went a little too far with that joke, but on the other hand, JC didn’t need to take it so personally. It’s like, “Dude, take a Chill Pill.”

JC may claim to only like Cass as a friend, but I can read between the lines. He’s totally gone soft for the girl. Now what are we to do with Suzie? “She was convinced they were inseparable.  There had been several times that she had even discussed marriage with JC.  He always managed to quell those conversations, but the thought was always in the back of her mind.” Goes to show that women can be every bit as arrogant and possessive as men, which I think is a clever touch on your part.

“Sometimes you can’t see the writing on the wall when it’s right in front of your face.” That’s so true about so many of us; it’s scary.

And what a way (in a nice way) to end the chapter: ”She had the strangest feeling that she had just been run over by a bulldozer.  He was a very handsome bulldozer, but one just the same.” Badda-boom! :D

Well, my friend, I think it’s safe to say I’ll be keeping an eye out for further updates. Take your time, of course, but now I really do want to know where this is all gonna go.
