Love it! Can't wait to read more soon I hope!? *crosses fingers*

Author's Response:

Sorry for the delay in response! I don't get emails anymore about reviews but thank you! I don't know if I have more in me on these two but if I do I'll certainly pop it up here.

Sigh!  Loved it. So sweet and the love/hate thing Char has going on with him is so sweet. This would make a great longer story if you ever feel like it, but there was just enough here to make it a fantastic short.

Author's Response:

This would make an awesome longer story, if I had time to do it right!

Every time you write something new you create a character that breathes such life into your stories that I love them so much, even if we only get snippets of them. I like Char and I like her outlook on the physical therapy. It's not easy and sometimes encouragement can cross the line and come across as fake and annoying. That she has no problem calling it out earned her points in my book (plus, subbing in the name Prince of Torture killed me).

I enjoy that they have the space to be real with each other; with JC seeing Char in this position, the vulnerabilities would be stripped away real fast and so that they can have heart to hearts like this (JC having someone to tell about switching his part time gig to his full time gig and Char being up front with asking him about his thoughts on her wheelchair) is sweet. It's clear they have a lot of trust in one another even without the unfortunate circumstances making them have to have trust on that level, and if anything were to be written about them later I can see that they would work really well with that foundation.

What a great entry to the big man's big day! I loved this!

Author's Response:

If I had time, and felt like I could write Char with a more informed POV this would be a nice longer story! Thanks Mack!
