this story, despite how sad justin is, makes me so happy. trace totally stole this chapter. it was awesome! haha. i also love the looks that have been going on between rachel and trace, but especially the many between lynn and sadie. besides trace, they know justin the best, and i'd bet a lot of money on knowing exactly what they are thinking and hoping for. "A lot can change" yes justin. you are getting closer to the light, but ugh. i wanted to cry for him when she treated the cd like it was junk. :o( and charlotte should've slapped her when she talked about her bag. i know she wouldn't, but yeah. haha. amelia feels like that guest that you can't wait to leave, while charlotte is the one that feels like she could belong in the family. and of course, amelia's gift to charlotte...it's not even about consideration or thoughtfulness. it's still about just showing what she can buy. showing how classy/high she is. nothing she does is based on feelings anymore.  and how sad is it that justin liked charlotte's gift more than amelia's? UUUGH!! the gift from justin to charlotte... so sweet and meangingful. :o) oh! and then coming away from their embrace...the touches! eeeeek!!! :o) :o) you should see and hear me when i read this story. update soon! now that i'm done with finals i can concentrate on what's important; my stories! haha. :o)

God I love Trace in this...he reminds me of my best friend. He's amazing and I love his personality. He really cares and a true friend tells you when you've fucked up without sugar coating it. I liked how he was honest with Charlotte.

And, I agree with what everyone was saying about Amelia and Justin and their situation. I don't hate Ameila completely. I just wished she wasn't so uptight. I mean, does she even know that her soon to be husband is unhappy and slowly drifting while questioning himself about her and his present life? I felt bad when she brushed off the song he made for her. That was from the heart and her joy over the diamond earings made her seem so materialistic. I love how Charlotte makes Justin quesiton himself and really put his life into perspective but I'm a little worried about her. She needs to toughen up some. Sometimes, it feels like she doesn't really fit into the equation and other times I'm all for team Charltin. I honestly wish there was a way for everyone to be happy...can you make that happen? please? LOL. 

God, when is this wedding going to happen? I'd hate it if Justin made it all the way to the alter and when it was his turn to say I do realization would hit and he'd realize he was in love with Charlotte or something. That would be...terrible. LOL But make for some good drama. I'd just like to get into Amelia's head and understand how she works and why she's the way she is even if now it's clear now that her Dad has a part to play in it.

I'm glad that everyone is seeing the connection that Justin and Charlotte share and I love how they're progressing but I'm still worried about how all of this will turn out. Anyway amazing update. I hope you're not ending this one anytime soon. This is one of my new favs and I always look forward to what you come up with next.

Not a front per say ( I don't really know how to express it) but maybe like you said Justin was her escape/rebellion from her lifestyle ( a breath of fresh air, which she thought she wanted), but then realized/thinks had to revert to this Amelia in order to be successful. I don't want to burn her at the stake, yet I am team CharlStin and simply want to see Justin happy. Like "Trace" said he's himself with her and I just don't see Amelia changing her ways ( she's capable, we've seen flashes of old Amelia) and Justin has been through enough already. 

O/T I totally see her saying she doesn't want kids latter on if they do get married.

justinzgirlkb I see what you're saying about Amelia, and she's one of my favorite characters as well ( she is unlike anything we have read), but her complete dismissal and lack of respect for Justin and his opinion makes me wonder if she was truly that woman Justin fell in love with. If she so easily changed into this hard and cold woman, was that carefree Amelia just a front? I understand the demands her career and the society she comes from places on her, but what she has done and continues to do goes beyond that. This is the man she'll be spending her life with ( hopefully Heather can change that *wink wink* ) and the family she is marrying into, and she treats them like they're beneath her. I feel that Justin has given up so much to be with her, and any relationship ( especially marriage) is a give and take, their relationship is completely one sided. While Justin is striving to keep the flame alive she does everything in her power to push him into the arms of Charlotte.
