Great update.  I really hate both Justin and Amelia right now.  What I don't get is what Amelia is getting out of this.  She doesn't seem to love Justin.  As pointed out, she's got more money than him, so it's not a gold digging situation.  He never seems to do anything right in her eyes.  He's not from a political/society/power family. She doesn't seem attracted to him given she went 8 months without want sex from him.  So I don't get why she's with him and going through this...

And Justin... *shakes head*, loyalty is one thing, committing you life to utter misery is another.  You may love her, but you're not IN love with her.

And thank goodness Lynn & Paul see how miserable he is.  I think it's perfect she told him he didn't have to go through with the wedding.  I think he really needed to hear that.  And Paul hit the nail on the head.  Too bad Justin is too loyal to Amelia to see it's true meaning.  They've raised a good boy, loyal and a gentleman, but he's those things to a fault.  He's rather do the correct thing than the right thing.

Again, great update, I can't wait till you post more. :)

I can't believe that Justin is that stupid to think that its Charlie he needs to lose and not Amelia.  Why can't he see that the last two months of sleepless nights is because he needs Charlie in his life.  She is what I would have pictured for him.  Bubbly, passionate, and sex all the way making him laugh and feel full of life, encouraging him to start again performing.  Why is he so stupid not to see whats starring him in the face.  I only hope that Charlie isn't gone for ever.  I really need something good to come out of this my life sucks and true love and happy ending is what I need to pull through this amazing story. 

Please don't make us wait another month of an update its killing me.   

I'm so glad you updated girlie!!!

First of all, let me say that this was the most amazing chapter.  I loved how you really broke down Justin, and how you showed his true brokenness so damn well.  I felt like I was in his head, and I felt my heart ache, just like his did.  He's just gone--it was heartbreaking to read.

I was so in love with this entire chapter until I read the last sentence.  It seems so painfully obvious to everyone, even to himself if he would just listen.  He's not in love with Amelia, and every fragment of his body and soul has been tainted by Charlotte.

Charlotte is his true love.  He's happy with her, and it's just so exasperating that here, even at his lowest moment, when he has nothing left but to really think about the situation in his home, with his parents, the only people he can be truthful with, that he chooses the wrong truth.  How can you still choose to walk away when the answer is so obviously blatant and right in front of you.  And if he loved his parents that much, how could he possibly not even take in their advice?

I think...I think this is the chapter in which I, like Justin, have finally reached the end of the rope.  I've teetered on the edge of liking and hating Justin for his irrational and obvious flawed thinking.  But reading this entire chapter, how can he be so stupid?  I've fallen out of love with the man.

Any man that is that much of a coward, and is that truly afraid to really admit his feelings, despite his pain, his obvious unhappiness, and utter disdain for life, is someone that I can no longer respect.  I admire his loyalty, but I'm afraid loyalty isn't enough to make me forgive him for this.

If you continue to decide to go down this path, despite being miserable, even when you know the real answer if you would just get over yourself, then you truly deserve the misery that you're in.

At this point, Justin is hopeless.  He deserves his misery.  He deserves to sit at the debutante table at dinner and listen to idle chatter for the rest of his life.  He deserves to have unfulfilling sex with a condom.  He deserves to bury himself in work to try and forget his pain.  He deserves to be in a loveless relationship.

That is what he deserves.

Spineless lack.

Anyway--great chapter. lol.  I loved it and hated it all at the same time.

On an aside--I miss Charlotte.

Can I just say that I LOVE PAUL!  Thank GOD for the man he's blessed enough to call dad huh?!  That's the kind of conversation that everyone needs once in a while you know?  

That love/non love scene was hard to read.  I never thought I'd say that but yeah...it was awkward, weird, uncomfortable yet had moments of sensuality and for a moment, you knew that he has love for her.  But she wouldn't be Amelia if she didn't complicate things with her boring, stationary self.  I don't understand how ANY grown woman in a relationship can go eight months without making love to someone who looks like Justin and then have the nerve to say she's doing it for him. WOW...there are no words.

I'm afraid of what's going to happen next....you're too good at this mama.  Awesome update...and thanks again, you made my day better :)

Yay to update... but damn Justin is at an all time low. He has lost every part of who he is. The man didn't even enjoy sex. I think that Paul has maybe caught on to the Charlotte connection and I think Lynn knows that he doesn't want to marry Amelia but he is just doing it because its' what he is supposed to do.

Great update! it's going to be an eventful next few chapters, I can/t wait to see how it all unfolds.
