I thought I'd feel relieved that he finally grew a pair but I'm so over them (he and Amelia) that I don't care what they do. I do hope that Charlotte finds someone else because her and Justin together would highly disappoint me. She deserves better than someone who doesn't even love himself.

Thanks for clearing up the accounting issue. Between that, the off the book dinners, and how Amelia seems to have to marry even tho she doesn't seem to be in love, I was thinking she was marrying him for his money. Sorta like how in Titanic Rose was being forced to marrying Cal because she was broke.
I agree with the suggestion for posting deleted scenes - just as long as you write the last two chapters first. ;)

Author's Response: This one was on the short side, especially for me. Only 11 word doc pages but I'm trying to be more concise with my writing instead of blathering on lol. And I'm keeping mum on Justin and Charlie. You're just gonna have to wait and see ;) It'd been suggested that I write some of the chapters I cut as deleted scenes and I may consider doing that once I'm done. Plus I'm sure I'll get ideas for little one shots kind of like I did with my other story, A Love Worth Learning. I'm sure once UTTK is over it won't be the last we hear from these characters. I wonder what Amelia has up her sleeve... Something just doesn't sit right with how quickly she's giving up. And we still haven't answered the accounting question - why Justin's books seem to be off... Could the "My reputation is all I have" line be telling of some financial situation Justin isn't aware of... I have a feeling Justin's life before this will seem like paradise compared to the hell she's about to put him through... /ramblings

Author's Response: Actually the finances thing was a screw up on my part. It was a little extra tidbit I'd added early on and as the story progressed the chapter that I was going to address that in ended up being cut because it was kind of unnecessary and I've been trying to resolve it but with only two chapters left now there isn't really a place I can do that. This is the problem with posting as you write chapter to chapter, sometimes your story shifts from your outline and then you kind of screw yourself over. All Charlotte was going to find was that Justin wasn't broke, that actually Amelia had redone his finances when they got engaged and made a few investments for him that actually MADE him money. Someone suggested that I take the chapters I cut and write them as deleted scenes. I may still do that but I don't wanna end the story and still leave you in the dark for 82397983274283 years until I get around to writing the deleted scene haha. Anyway glad you liked it! I haven't been on here reading much in a while since I'm so busy, but I had to come to read this update when I got the email.
Anyway, I'm not surprised by this. It was the only thing I could think of that would be the last straw for them. Didn't think it would happen so soon, but glad it did. I don't feel sorry for Amelia or Justin. It's Karma for them both and they both deserved it. I was right, I still don't like Justin. This is the first time I've really disliked a Justin character like this in a story. lol. That's how great you are at this writing thing. hehe. I'm glad he finally came to his senses though.
Now, I'm patiently waiting to see how it all ends. I'd like to see just how weak Chalrie is towards him if he decided to come crawling back. Ugh, love, what a messy emotion. hehe. Loved it. More soon.
