Guilty

It's been a little over a month since the whole turn of events. Alonsha had not seen Justin for 3 monthes now. He was in Florida, spending time with Trace and writing songs for his solo album.

Alonsha missed him a lot. She hadn't spoken to him in a week. She was disappointed, but she understood that he worked really hard, and was probably tired when he got home.

Alonsha was at home, on the sofa. It was Sunday and the Rec. was closed because it was being repainted. Alonsha sat with Bosco, watching whatever paid advertising program was on, something about an ab cruncher, before the phone rang.

"Hey Lonnie," Justin said as soon as she said hello, "How's my girl?" he asked her in a fatherly tone.

"I don't know about Britney, but I'm okay." Alonsha joked with a smile. She could tell he was smiling too.

"Okay?" he questioned, "You should be fantastic!"

"Should be. . ." Alonsha trailed off as she felt a lump in her thoart.

"What's the matter sweetheart? Was the wedding okay? It didn't rain did it? 'Cause that would suck." he said as he leaned back into his lush sofa.

"What wedding?" Alonsha said as she wiped away a stray tear. Justin was about to joke about how old she was getting if she couldn't remember her own wedding, but he heard the hurt in her tone.

"What happened?" he asked as he brought his arm to rest above his head.

"Kyle and I. . .He. . ." Alonsha was trying to get the words out before she started to cry. She began to sob. Justin was so caught off guard by her sudden eruption of emotion that he didn't know what to do.

"What did he do?" was the only thing he could think of saying to her.

"Don't you mean who?" Alonsha asked as she angrily wiped away her tears. She never got this emotional before. Not in front of Justin. He was the only friend that never saw her cry, or heard for that matter.

Justin's brows furrowed briefly in an attempt to grasp what she meant, then it hit him. Was Kyle really that stupid? How could he cheat? On Alonsha of all people. She loved him more than anything.

"When did this happen?" Justin asked after he heard her sobs quiet down.

"The day before the wedding, I came home early. . . And I wanted to surprise him. I walked into his room and he was with some fuckin' red head." Alonsha spat out angrily while wiping away the fresh tears that ran down her cheeks.

"Well the hell with him. He is definitely not worth your tears. He's a damn dick for doing what he did, and you deserve better than him away." Justin said angrily as Alonsha smiled. He was going into his big brother tirade. He always sided with Alonsha and always came to her defense relentlessly until she got her way.

"I know, I'm trying." Alonsha said as she sighed, "But it's hard not to cry when the love of your life takes your heart and stomps all over it."

"Believe me, I know, but you'll get over him eventually." he said encouragingly.

"Eventually. . ." Alonsha said in a not-so-convincing tone.

"Hey, has thrustin' Justin ever steered you wrong?" Justin asked with his boyish grin plastered on his face. Alonsha giggled at his comment.

"I thought you hated that nickname." she said with a smile.

"I do. But I got a laugh out of you didn't I?" Justin explained.

"Yeah." Alonsha said still smiling, "Thank you, I feel better." Alonsha said as Justin nodded even though she could not see him.

"I got some good news that will make you feel a lot better." Justin said sitting up.

"What's that?"

"I'm coming home tomorrow." Justin said as Alonsha smiled to herself.

"Good, I miss you." she said genuinely. Justin smiled as he ran his free hand over his thigh before moving his fingers along the stitching on his pants.

"How could you not miss me?" Justin questioned jokingly. Alonsha rolled her eyes.

"You are so full of yourself Justin." Alonsha said as she petted Bosco softly as he rested his head on her lap.

"I'm just stating the facts," Justin said confidently, "But I have to admit it, I've missed you too."

"Boy please, of course you missed me." Alonsha said before they both laughed.

"And who's full of herself now?" Justin mocked. They laughed again before they both quieted. Alonsha laughed, rolling her eyes.

"So when do you come in?" Alonsha asked excitedly. She really wanted to see him.

"I'm on the plane by 6am. . .I'd probably land around. . .I don't know. . .9ish, then I'll probably take a nap, so I'll swing by at twelve or one." Justin explained as Alonsha quietly listened to his every word.

"Okay, sounds good." Alonsha said coolly.

"Do you have plans for the day?" Justin asked as he adjusted in his sofa so that Trace could sit.

"No, me and Bos were just gonna chill today." Alonsha said looking at Bosco.

"Where's Tiff and Scott?" Justin asked.

"Somewhere, doing God knows what to each other." Alonsha said as Justin laughed.

"Speaking of which, me and Brit," Alonsha rolled her eyes in disgust, "are planning on going shopping tomorrow, you should come." He suggested with a smile.

"Justin, I'd rather not. I wouldn't want to be a third wheel." Alonsha explained.

"You won't be a third wheel, I'll bring Trace." Justin said as Alonsha sighed.

"Justin. . ." Alonsha began to protest.

"Don't Justin me, you're going to have fun. I'll buy you shoes or something." Justin said taking the Pepsi that Trace offered him.

"But. . ."

"The only but want is yours on Robertson's tomorrow, shopping happily." Justin stated sternly.

"You can't tell me what to do." Alonsha said with a fake attitude.

"You weren't complaining the other night." Alonsha rolled her eyes.

"Why do you always find a way to change an innocent conversation into something sexual?" she asked. Justin laughed heartily. It was loud and obnoxious, but it was one of the things she missed.

"It makes the conversation more interesting." he said as Trace shook his head, a smile at the corner of his lips, as he listened to Justin's side of the conversation.

"I didn't know I was boring you." Alonsha said in a hurt tone.

"Aww. . .Alonsha." Justin said sympathically, "I wish I cared."

"Oh, Jay, that was cold." Alonsha whined as Justin laughed again.

"You know I was joking." Justin said as his door bell rung. Trace went to answer it.

"Sure. You know you meant it." Alonsha said with a smile on her face.

"Seriously, I didn't mean it." Justin said sincerely. He looked up and saw Pharrell and Chad coming into the living room. He did the handshake thing with both of them, before they all started to Justin's studio.

"Whatever, I don't care anyway." she said as Justin smiled, he could picture her pouting in that moment.

"I'll make it up to you tomorrow, I promise." he said as Alonsha rolled her eyes again, something that she does a lot around Justin, "But I have to go into the studio, so I have to say goodbye." Justin said as all the guys shot him impatient looks.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever Timberlake, you can go to hell for all I care." Alonsha said with a grin on her face.

"Save me a seat?" Justin asked.

"You know it." Alonsha said. They both laughed.

"Okay, tell everybody I said hey." he said.

"Alright. Bye."

"Bye." Justin hung up. He went back to the kitchen to place the phone on the charger before he returned to the studio.

"Was that Britney?" Chad asked as he tuned all of the equipment.

"Naw, that was Alonsha." Justin answer as he searched for his song book. Pharrell and Chad glanced at one another suspciously.

"Sounded like you were talkin' to ya girl." Pharrell said as Justin turned to face him. His eyebrows raised, book in hand.

"Man, please. Lonnie is my friend. Brit is my girl. Unlike you, Mr. Williams, I am a one woman man." Justin said defensely.

"Okay, okay." Pharrell said putting his hands up in surrender, "But you're gettin' kind of testy. Is that guilt?" he asked with a small smile.

"No. . . Guilt for what?"

"I don't know man, there was a lot of giggling going on." Trace said as Justin rolled his eyes.

"So what? She makes me laugh. We crack up all the time." Justin's hands gestered toward between his three friends as he tried to sound as rational as possible.

"Well we're not petite pieces of milk chocolate, just waiting for a real man to swoop us up in his pimped out Escalade." Pharrell said as they laughed.

"She had a man. . ." Justin said trailing off as he glanced over the lyrics of one of his songs.

"Had? Wasn't she marrying that Kyle dude?" Trace asked from his spot on the couch.

"Yeah, but that plan fell through. The prick cheated on her." Justin said shutting his book.

"What?" Trace asked surprised.

"That's what I said. She was crying and everything." Justin informed sadly.

"That's the stupidest thing I ever heard. If you love a girl enough to want to marry her ass, you need to control ya hormones." Pharrell said as Justin shrugged.

"It doesn't matter anyway. . . Alonsha deserves and will have better." Justin said with a determined tone.

"I don't doubt that." Pharrell said as they nodded in agreement, "With her brains, and that ass, she's a packaged deal." Pharrell said causes an eruption of 'yeahs' from the guys.

"Alright, enough of the bullshit, " Justin said seriously, "Let's get some of this shit done so I can get my ass some sleep, 'cause I'll be damn if I'm gonna wake up at 5 in the morning." Everyone nodded understandingly and got to work.
