Author's Chapter Notes:
Thanks for all the wonderful reviews! Here's another update.

Shift watched as Justin paced back and forth in their room at The Lion’s Pride clubhouse. She was worried about Paul and Lynn too but she really just wanted her son with her. She knew Justin was freaking out because even though Lynn was stable she was still in a coma and Paul still hadn’t been found. She didn’t know what to do. She knew she should be trying to comfort him but it’s Justin. Justin, who isn’t your typical guy and growled at Dirk when he tried to comfort him.

He may be her other half but right now she could tell he needed his own space.

“JT, I’m goin’ go outside to go smoke.” Shift told him as she kissed his cheek before leaving their room.

She closed her eyes as she shut the door behind her and leaned against it. She knew they had to go back and they had to take care of whoever did this thing to them. It hurt her heart to see Justin that lost.

“Are you okay?” She heard someone ask her.

Shift opened her eyes and met the sight of Jaime, “Yeah…just,” she stated as she let out a heavy sigh, “some things happened at our clubhouse in Tennessee,” she finished telling Jaime as she pushed herself off of the door.

“Can we talk?” Jaime asked as she looked around her, “outside.”

“Yeah sure.” Shift told her as they walked through the bar area and headed outside, “What did you want to talk about?” Shift asked as she pulled out a cigarette and lit it.

“I overheard something and I’m not even sure if it’s about ya’ll but I thought since you were nice to me when most old ladies aren’t…I should tell you.” Jaime told her as she got more and more nervous, Shift handed her a cigarette.

“It’s okay take a deep breath and tell me what you overheard.” Shift told her as she took a puff and watched Jaime light her own cigarette.

“I heard Dirk talking about some clubhouse shootin’ and he was talking about holding someone for ransom…I-I think he’s planning on taking you and Justin hostage!” Jaime told her as Shift threw down her cigarette and stomped it out.

“Shit! I-I have to tell Justin. Thanks Jaime.” Shift shouted as she rushed into her and Justin’s guest room.

“Don’t make a move Shift.” Dirk told her as she heard a click beside her temple and she knew he was holding a gun to her head.

“Why the hell are you doing this Dirk?” Justin asked as one of The Lion’s Pride members held a switchblade to his throat.

“Because The Wolf Pack will pay loads of money to get back You, Shift, and Paul. Don’t act so shocked,” Dirk said as Justin started to squirm against his captor, “I really wanted to kill your dad and mom, following their orders was a bitch. This is my MC, why should I have to patch-over to The Wolf Pack?” Dirk shouted as Justin looked at Shift.

No man wants to see a gun held to his girl’s head. It pissed him off that Dirk set up the ambush on the clubhouse. It pissed him off that Dirk dared to use him and Shift. But what made it really worse was that they were at Dirk’s clubhouse with his members, people loyal to him, ready to do what he tells them. He knew him and Shift couldn’t fight against the whole clubhouse.

He got elbowed in the back of the neck and knocked to his knees as Shift let out a gasp.

“Don’t like seeing your man get hit, do you?” Dirk said with a laugh as Shift glared at him, “Take them to the shed out back and tie them up. Make sure this bitch is tied up real tight. She’ll definitely try to get away when her son shows up,” Dirk told his men as he grabbed Shift by the hair and threw her to the ground in front of Justin.

“Shit! Mother fuckin’ asshole!” Shift muttered as she tried to lift herself up only to be kicked in the ribcage by Dirk.

She let out a oomph as Justin tired to rush to her side.

“Don’t even think about it Timberwolf. She’s always been your weakness.” Dirk said as he pistol whipped Justin with the handle of his 9mm.

Shift was picked up by two guys four times her size although she didn’t put up too much of a fight. No matter how much military training you have a broken rib still hurts and that’s what Dirk gave her when he kicked her. She tried to look behind her at Justin but stopped trying when he cried out in pain and Dirk started talking to her.

“Keep fighting Shift…every time you do I’ll hit Justin just for the hell of it.” Dirk told her.

She stopped fighting and let her captors take her to the shed in the back. She was soon followed by two other captors holding Justin. She tightened up her body, tensing all her muscles as they tied her up to a chair. She noticed Justin tensing up his body as well and kept her smile on the inside. When their captors were gone Shift and Justin relaxed their bodies giving themselves enough room to wiggle out of the ropes when the time was right.

“Fuck Shift, how do we get out of this?” Justin asked as his prepaid rang.

He waited a few minutes to see if any of their captors would come storming in and take it away from him. When that didn’t happen he wiggled his hands free and reached into his jeans. He pulled out his prepaid cell phone and answered it quietly.

“Why are you whispering?” Trace asked, whispering into the phone himself.

“Trace, Dirk set up the clubhouse shooting. He tied up Shift and I. Where are you, man?” Justin whispered into the phone, listening for any noises outside.

“I know he did. Fig found out. I called to warn ya’ll. I’m in Oklahoma. Can you get away?” Trace asked, uncertain if they were in really bad shape or not.

“Eventually, I just don’t know how long he plans to keep us tied up here.”

Justin said.

“Okay, I’ll be there around 3am. I won’t stop unless just for gas. Be ready at 3am.” Trace told him before he hung up and Justin hid the prepaid away in his jeans.

“Trace and the guys will be here at 3am. We have to be ready by then.” Justin said as he looked over at Shift with a small smile, “Now, how come I never thought about tying you up?”

Shift just shook her head and chuckled. Leave it to him to turn the worst situation into a reason to be horny.

As they sat there staring at each other and the empty space they were in Dirk walked into the shed.

“Look at the lovebirds. Now see, we have a problem…your dad is not talking and well…we need the lock code to your gun warehouse.” Dirk said as he eyed Shift even though he was talking to Justin.

“And what makes you think I’m going to tell you?” Justin spat out.

“Because we have Shift…you sure know how to pick ’em…I’ll admit she’s always been so pretty,” Dirk said as he caressed Shift’s cheek causing her to pull away, “I wonder what you would do if I took her right in front of you?…I’m sure she would love it,” Dirk said as Justin skidded across the floor in his chair, “Don’t worry I’ll make sure she comes…I’ll make sure it’s my name she screams not yours,” Dirk said as he leaned over Shift’s chair and licked the side of her face.

Shift turned her head in disgust as Dirk laughed.

“There’s only one problem asshole,” Justin said as he undid his ropes and stood from his chair, catching Dirk by surprise, “She belongs to me and she’ll never scream your name!” Justin said as he landed a right hook against Dirk’s jaw, a smug smirk crossing his face as he heard it crack.

“Son of a bitch,” Dirk mumbled, “How did you get out of your ropes?” He asked in disbelief.

“Those loyal assholes of yours don’t know how to tie fucking ropes!” Shift told him as she shed her own ropes and pulled the switchblade she always carried out of her boot, “That’s a damn shame too because you fucking licked my face! Damn Perv!” She shouted as she kicked Dirk in the back of his knees causing him to fall to the floor in front of her and Justin.

She whipped open her switchblade and watched as Dirk tried to crawl to the door of the shed, kicking his ribcage when he got too close and smiled when she heard his ribs break. She leaned down pulling up the ankles of his jeans and pulling down his socks as she cut the back of his ankles as he cried out in pain.

“Help me lift him JT.” She said as they picked Dirk up and sat him on one of the chairs, “Try to get up. I dare you too.”

Dirk knew that she cut through his tendons and every step would hurt. If he walked too far his feet would literally fall off. So he stayed put figuring his boys would take them out. At least until Shift pulled out two Silverballer .45s out of her leather cut as did Justin. Why hadn’t he stripped them of their cuts?

“It’s 2am Shift. Gag him and we’ll take out as many as possible until Trace gets here,” Justin told Shift as she hit Dirk’s throat with the butt of her gun, “I said gag him not hit him!”

“God JT, it just knocked the wind out of him,” Shift said as she rolled her eyes, “So, do I gag him or knock him out?” She asked as she held out her hands waiting for Justin’s answer.

“Ugh…just knock him out…you know you want too.” Justin told her with a smirk as she hit Dirk again and he was knocked out cold.

Trace pulled up to The Lion’s Pack clubhouse eyeing the shed and figuring that is where they were keeping Justin and Shift. He gave Kale to Chuck as him and Eddie headed to the shed to check it out. Trace kicked open the door as Eddie cocked his shotgun and aimed into the shed. Trace chuckled as he saw Dirk sitting tied to a chair, knocked out cold. This was definitely Shift’s work.

“They escaped. Check the clubhouse.” Trace ordered to the other members as Eddie checked Dirk’s pulse for good measure.

Riley was the first to bust into the clubhouse and laughed at the sight in front of him. All The Lion’s Pride member’s cuts were piled up in a corner and the bar area was trashed with bullets and dead bodies.

“What the hell! What’s the body count?” Ben asked as he followed Riley through the clubhouse.

“Right now six…oh wait…seven.” Riley said as he kicked a dead body aside.

Jaime walked around the corner separating the Jack from the rest of the liquor like Shift and Justin asked her too. Since she tried to warn them they let her live, after she told them all she knew about The Lion’s Pride of course. She gasped as she took in the sight of the men standing in front of her. They cocked their guns and aimed at her.

“Who are you?” One of them shouted.

“A-A…a…c-club mama…” Jaime stuttered out.

“Where’s Shift and Timberwolf?” The other one shouted as she pointed down the hallway.

“In their guest room.” She said as Riley went down the hallway, kicking open every door.

He kicked open the second door to the last and turned around quickly. Shift was naked and on top of Justin, riding him into an orgasm. Riley couldn’t get the image of Shift’s perky breasts bouncing up and down as her hips moved with Justin’s. Sweat was glistening on her back making her Wolf Pack tattoo shine. His ears were assaulted by her sweet moans as Justin’s hands gripped her hips, guiding her. He slammed the door shut knowing that they knew he saw them but they didn’t care. He heard Shift scream Justin’s name as she orgasm, laughing when he heard Justin let out a slew of cuss words followed by Shift’s real name. It was nice to know that they got off on this shit.

“Where’s Shift and Timberwolf?” Ben asked as he caught up to Riley.

“They’re in there fucking. Probably have another kid.” Riley said as him and Ben shared a laugh.

*Forty minutes later*

“Nice to know ya’ll are still alive!” Trace shouted as Justin and Shift walked into the bar and Justin flipped him off as everyone laughed.

“Yeah, nice of you to show up but I think we handled it without you!” Justin said as Jaime poured him a shot of whiskey.

“Seriously guys…you couldn’t get rid of the bodies before you brought my son in here?” Justin asked as Shift picked up a sleeping Kale and held him tight.

“We told him they were sleeping and then he fell asleep. So, what’s the plan?” Ben asked as he took a shot.

“Dig a grave and light the whole fucking place up!” Justin said as he took his shot.

“And this fine ass mama?” Trace asked as he winked at Jaime who just smiled.

“She’s comin’ with us,” Justin said as Shift nodded, “She warned us and helped us into the club. You can ride with Trace Jaime.”

“Okay then…let’s get to diggin’.” Riley said as they headed outside while Shift and Jaime cleaned the bodies of jewelry and cash.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“So Jaime, you like any of these guys?” Riley asked as he nodded towards the mass grave.

“Not really.” Jaime said as Justin and Trace loaded Dirk into the trunk of the Cutless Trace was driving.

“Still someone should say something like…I don’t know…a prayer or something.” Ben said as they looked down into the grave.

“Shift is the religious one. But isn’t it against the law to pray for those you yourself killed?” Riley asked.

“Shut the fuck up! I’ll do a prayer before we torch them.” Shift said as Kale hung onto her leg, “Kale, go with Jaime okay? Mommy and daddy will be there soon. Close your eyes too until Jaime says you can open them okay?”

“Yes Mommy.” Kale said as he took Jaime’s hand and followed her to the Cutless.

“Okay, um…I guess I’ll wait for JT and Trace.” Shift said as she clapped her hands together, “Shit, I need a smoke,” she muttered as they chuckled and she lit a cigarette as Justin and Trace walked up to them.

“What’s going on?” Trace asked as he noticed them waiting.

“Shift’s goin’ say a prayer before we light this place up.” Ben said as he lit his own cigarette.

“Oh, okay. Everyone bow your heads and close your eyes.” Justin said as the seven of them closed their eyes and bowed their heads.

“God our Father

Your power brings us to birth

Your providence guides our lives,

And by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,

Their lives change but do not end.

I pray in hope for my family,

Relatives and friends,

And for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,

Who died and now lives,

May they rejoice in Your kingdom,

Where all our tears are wiped away.

Unite us together again in one family,

To sing Your praise forever and ever.

In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.” Shift said as she made the sign of the cross and threw her lighted cigarette into the grave pit they had dug.

The fire caught on quick due to the alcohol they had poured over the bodies.

“Alright, let’s burn the rest of this place down.” Justin said as they headed back to the clubhouse.
