JC joined them at the table. “So did Reva get to talk to Justin?” Elena asked. “Yeah, they talked.” JC said. “So is she feeling better?” Reneé asked. JC scratched his head and laughed. “Yeah, I think she’s feeling much better.” JC said. Chris soon joined them. He sat down next to Elena and kissed her on the cheek. Justin wasn’t far behind. “So did you get everything worked out with Reva?” Joey asked. “I think JC did a pretty good job of taking care of her.” Justin said. JC gave him the look of death. “JC, what’s he talking about?” Lance asked rather confused. JC sipped him coffee. “It’s nothing, the girl was heart broken I was just trying to help.” JC said in a low voice. Justin took a seat next to Elena. She slid a little closer to Chris. “She sure seemed happy when I got there.” Justin said. “Why what happened?” Reneé asked. “He kissed her.” Justin said boldly. “What?” Elena asked looking at JC. JC blushed and hung his head. “Yeah, you go man.” Joey said giving JC high five. “Joseph.” Reneé yelled elbowing him. “Oh, I mean, that’s bad.” Joey said trying to please his girlfriend. JC just shook his head. “So, when I see Hannah next week, is there something I should tell her?” Chris asked. “No, don’t you dare tell her a thing.” JC snapped. “Relax, man I won’t, but you should.” Chris said. “I know, but I don’t even know what happened, we were just talking and the next thing I knew we kissed.” JC explained. “Who kissed who?” Justin asked. “I kissed her, I guess.” JC said half embarrassed. “Things just got really interesting.” Chris said looking at Justin. “Almost make me glad that I don’t have a girlfriend.” Lance said getting up. Lance walked off. “We really need to get him some one.” JC said once Lance was out of sight. “How about your cousin, she seemed nice.” Chris said. Reneé hesitated. “I don’t think so.” Joey said quickly. “Why not?” Elena asked. “I just don’t think she’s his type that’s all. I wouldn’t want to break his heart again.” Joey lied. “Are you saying my cousin’s not good enough for him?” Reneé asked. “No, Casey is good enough for him, just I don’t think they would click.” Joey explained. “Oh, I guess, you’re right.” Reneé said finally. “So Hannah said she would do it?” Elena asked trying to change the topic. “Yeah, we’re going to hook up when we go to L.A next week. I have to get these pictures taken really soon, people keep walking out on us and we‘re behind.” Chris said. Elena nodded she understood. They finished their lunch and then the guys had to get to work. *** One week later in L.A*** Chris smiled as the lights flashed. It was odd to be at a photo shoot and not be the one being photographed. Once they were done Hannah smiled and ran over and gave Chris a hug. “Thank you so much for getting me this job.” She said. “Don’t mention it we really needed someone so we could make our deadline.” Chris explained. “I like these clothes; they’re very comfortable.” Hannah said looking down at the jeans and tiny tank top she was wearing. “I try, but they look really great on you.” Chris said. Hannah blushed. “So, how are things with you and Elena?” Hannah asked. “Good.” Chris said. “Is JC going to come see me?” Hannah asked wondering why her boyfriend hadn’t come with Chris in the first place. “Yeah, I think he’ll be by later, he had a thing to do.” Chris said not really sure either. Several pretty girls walked by. “You’re good and not paying attention to them.” Hannah said. “Yeah, well I have a girlfriend and if I looked at every pretty thing that walked by I might miss the right one.” Chris said. Hannah had no clue what he just said but she smiled just the same. They called Hannah’s name and she quickly took her place beside the other girls. Chris stayed off to the side and watched. Soon JC came up beside him. “Did she say anything?” JC asked. “She doesn’t have ESP.” Chris stated. “I know, I just feel bad.” JC said. “Do you feel bad because you liked kissing Reva or because you love Hannah?” Chris asked. JC thought a minute. “That’s just it, I don’t know if I liked it, or why I did it.” JC said. “Did you hate it?” Chris asked. “No.” JC said. Chris raised an eyebrow at him. “Okay, so now what do I tell Hannah?” JC asked. “You could try the truth.” Chris asked in a smart-alecky tone. Hannah looked over and saw JC; she smiled and gave a little wave. JC waved back. Chris watched her; she really did look good in those clothes. Once the shot was over Hannah joined them off to the side again. “Hi, sweetie.” She said giving JC a kiss on the cheek. JC hugged her and then caught Chris looking at Hannah’s butt. Hannah had her back to him and JC smiled at Chris. When Chris looked up and saw JC watching him. “What I’ve never seen those jeans on some one. I like the way they fit.” Chris said. “Sure.” JC said under his breath. Hannah laughed. “You like, I thought they made my butt look a little big.” She asked checking it out for herself. “NO, they look great.” Chris said. “You want to go get a cup of coffee?” Hannah asked. “Sure.” JC said. “You wanna come?” Hannah asked turning to Chris. “No, I better stay here. You need to be back yourself by 5 for any other photos we need.” Chris said. “Okay I’ll be back.” Hannah said and then left with JC. They made their way to a small coffee shop down the street. JC slipped on his hat and shades. “You look silly.” She said as they sat down. “Better to look silly than get attacked by teenies.” JC said. The made small talk and then JC cleared his throat. “Hannah there’s something I need to tell you.” He said placing his hand over hers. “What is it baby, you can tell me anything.” Hannah said sweetly. JC looked into her pretty brown eyes. He turned away. “I feel so bad about it, and I don’t even know why I did it.” JC explained. Hannah sat there quietly and waited for him to go on. “I kissed another woman.” JC said watching her to see her reaction. She sat back and looked at him. “Who was it?” She asked. “Reva.” JC said ashamed. “Justin’s girlfriend?” Hannah asked. “Well they broke up.” JC said. “Before or after you kissed her?” Hannah asked. “Before.” JC said. “I can’t tell you how sorry I am. You’re not going to make a scene are you?” JC asked. “No, that’s not my style and besides I have a confession too. I didn’t kiss any one but I have been thinking about another man.” Hannah said. “What? Who?” JC asked a little curious. “I can’t say he’s kind of involved, but since you were coming clean I thought I might as well.” Hannah explained. “So what are we going to do?” JC asked. “It’s up to you, you’re a sweet guy and if you want to be with Reva, then that’s fine, I just want you to be happy.” Hannah said. “I don’t know what I want just yet, but if I do decided to go with Reva, we can still be friends right?” JC asked. “Always.” Hannah said looking him in the eye. Justin then JC beeper went off. He looked at it. “I better go, I’ll call you.” JC said. “Yeah, I better go too. We’ll talk later.” Hannah said. JC got up and walked her back to the studio where the FuMan photo shoot was taking place. “I hope everything work out okay for you with that other guy.” JC said giving her a kiss on the cheek. She smiled and then walked in the door. She was a little early so she decided to go get a drink out of the fridge in the waiting room. She was a little surprised to find Chris asleep on the couch in the small room. He had a FuMan Skeeto hat pulled down over his eyes and his hands were neatly folded a crossed his chest. Hannah smiled he looked so peaceful. She went over and opened the door to the tiny fridge and then bent over to get one out. Chris woke up and opened his eyes just as she did so. He studied her for a minute. “I think I was wrong.” Chris said. She turned and looked at him with a soda in her hand. “What are you talking about?” She asked. “It’s not just the pants, you really do have a nice butt.” Chris said with a smiled. Hannah blushed. Chris looked at his watch. “You’re early.” He said. “JC got beeped.” Hannah explained. Chris put his legs down and patted the seat next to him. She went over and sat beside him. “So did you and JC talk?” Chris asked. “Yeah, how did you know?” Hannah asked. “I kind of walked in while they were kissing.” Chris said. “Oh, you poor thing.” Hannah said. “No, I’m okay. Are you okay?” Chris asked. “Yeah, I’m okay.” Hannah said looking down at the can of coke in her hand. As she turned to look up and face Chris once again, she was caught by surprise by how close he was to her face. She could see right into his brown eyes. She was about to question his purpose when he kissed her. The kiss was short Chris backed away to see her reaction, then she smiled he kissed her again, this time with a little more passion. He pushed her back on the couch and crawled on top of her. “Hey, Chris. The...Oh my.” Justin yelled walking in the door and seeing the two of them. He jumped back and covered his eyes. He startled Chris and Hannah. Chris fell to the floor and Hannah sat up quickly. “Don’t you knock?” Chris asked picking himself off the floor. “Sorry the guy out front said you were napping.” Justin explained. “I was.” Chris said. “Not when I walked in.” Justin said shaking his head. Justin thought for a minute. “Hey does this mean I can have Elena?” Justin asked running over to his friend. “What do you mean can you have her, it’s not like I can just give her to you?” Chris asked. “Well I know that, but you could break up with her and put in a good word for me.” Justin said with a smile. “Oh, my god, I totally forgot about Elena. She’s going to kill me.” Hannah squealed. “Relax babe, Justin can handle Elena.” Chris said trying to comfort Hannah. “No, but Elena is my friend now and I just kissed her boyfriend. I was dumb I should have waited until you broke up first.” Hannah explained. “I guess I’m to blame too on that. I don’t know if I can break up with Elena come to think about it.” Chris said. “What you have too, you just cheated on her.” Justin explained. “But she hasn’t done anything to me, she’s a sweet as can be, If she knew I cheated on her break up with me, but I don’t want to lose her as a friend.” Chris said. “Do you have any idea what you want?” Justin asked confused. “Not really, why?” Chris asked. “You want to be with Hannah right?” Justin asked. Chris shook his head yes. “But you also want Elena to be happy, right?” Justin asked. “Yeah.” Chris said trying to follow him. “Then, I’ll take Elena and she’ll be happy.” Justin said. “Are you sure, or would that just make Justin happy?” Chris asked. “That would make me happy and I would find away to make her happy.” Justin explained. “Boy, I’m glad you know what you’re talking about.” Hannah said. “I got a plan, what we need to do is find a way to get Elena to like you so that way she will break up with me and go out with you, then I can go out with Hannah.” Chris said. “Okay, but there’s one problem. I talked to Elena just the other day on the net and she can’t stand Justin.” Hannah said. “Minor technicality.” Chris said feeling confidant that he could turn it around. “How?” Justin asked. “Look, Hannah and me know everything about Elena, just do as we tell you and I’m sure she’ll come around.” Chris explained. Hannah got up. “Well until then, our relationship is on hold.” Hannah said getting ready to walk out the door. “What, but...” Chris said walking over to her. “Not, until you’re officially broken up, I can’t do that to Elena.” Hannah said putting her hand on Chris’s cheek. She smiled and then left. Chris smiled and then turned to Justin. “You need to make up your mind, I think you have a great girls already, but luckily your loss is my gain.” Justin said smiling at the thought. Chris shook his head. “Your really psyched about this aren’t you?” He asked. “Yeah, but if you don’t mind me asking what happened I thought you were happy with Elena?” Justin asked questioning his friend’s sudden change of heart. “I guess it was the talk we had. I think I knew that you liked her. I was happy to hear it. Elena and I have so much in common, our relationship was just too perfect. I liked Hannah since I met her that first time that’s why I told JC I wouldn’t tell but he should. I saw an opening and I took it. But now I want to see you with Elena, I know you will take good care of her, she is still my friend.” Chris explained. Justin smiled again. “I’ll take great care of her, now tell me what to do.” Justin said. Chris smiled too, he was happy to see that Elena would have some one great in her life. He had seen Justin with many girls and knew he gave them all the respect and love they needed. “Can we go talk some place else; some of the guys around here know Elena. I don’t want her thinking I’m all bad.” Chris explained. “If you were worried about that why were you kissing when I came in?” Justin asked. “I got caught up in the moment.” Chris said getting his coat. Justin followed him closely and the two left.
