It was a beautiful day, so Monica and I decided to go lay out by the pool at my apartment. It had been three days since the after party. I hadn't heard from Justin and honestly, I didn't expect to either. I mean, he is a famous, hot guy, could have any girl he wanted (and probably does). So I told myself, it's probably better to not get involved with anyone like that anyways. Even though I told myself this, I couldn't help but wonder what he would be like, without anyone else around, just being his normal self. Monica must have caught on to my thoughts because she had to bring him up.

 "Have you heard from Justin?" Monica asked.

"No, I doubt I will....he was probably just asking my number to be nice."

"Whatever Kim...I think he is really interested in you. Trace told me he kept asking him if I had mentioned you saying anything about him."

"What did you tell him?"

"I told him you said he was really nice and fun to hang around."

"Well if he is that interested he would probably call or text by now."

"He is a busy guy, I say he will... anyways me and Trace are going to go to my parent's beach house in Malibu this weekend...I told him I was going to invite you so I think he is going to ask Justin to go."

"You and Trace must be getting pretty serious, eh?  Already going on trips together " I laughed.

"Nah I don't want anything serious, just someone to hang out with, you know me. Besides, I think he is asking Justin to go so you should come, we would have fun!"

"Yea that would be pretty fun"

In all honesty, it did sound like fun, even though I told myself not go get involved. I mean what could it hurt right? I am a single girl and he is single so what would be the big deal?

"I'll try to find out some info about Justin from Trace... like ask if he is seeing anyone else or anything like that."

"Yea, sounds good. Don't make it obvious though."

A week had gone by. I finally heard from Justin. He ended up calling the night Monica and I talked about the beach trip. He was going and I have to admit, I was starting to get excited about this trip. I was glad he called and we talked a couple of times before the trip, that way it wouldn't be so awkward when we all were together.

The weekend of the beach trip ended up getting here really fast. I had just finished packing and Monica had called. The guys were going to pick Monica up then me. I was kind of nervous, yet excited. I was interested in Justin, don't get me wrong, but I had heard he had gotten a playboy reputation since him and his last girlfriend had broken up.  I had just gotten out of a relationship a couple of months ago too and was not ready to be in another serious one, however I don't want to be considered just a notch on someone's belt either. But, maybe he was a really nice guy, or maybe I am thinking way too much into this. I need to just relax and enjoy this weekend.

We finally reached Monica's beach house. The ride over wasn't that bad. We all talked about what we like to do and made some plans for this weekend. The house  was gorgeous. Monica's parents were pretty well off, so I figured the house would be nice. We all unpacked and got settled in. The house had three bedrooms, Monica and Trace were going to share a room. I didn't know if I was going to share a room and didn't want to look easy so I decided to take a room to myself.

"I pick this room" I said.

"I wanted this room." Justin had said playfully.

"Sorry, you can have the bedroom closest to Monica and Trace... I need sleep and they will probably keep us up all night." I laughed.

"You are probably right. Ah that's fine, I can usually sleep through anything. Wanna swim? Monica and Trace are already out there."

"Yea let me put my swimsuit on."

I got dressed really quickly and met Monica and Trace out by the pool. I was late in the afternoon, so the water was very warm. I was talking to Monica when I had noticed Justin coming out. He had on plaid swimming trunks and had just taken his shirt off. He was built very good. I didn't want to be obvious, but I couldn't help but stare at him. He and Trace were by the grill getting ready to put the food on while Monica and I stayed in the pool.

"He is hot, isn't he" Monica said.

"Yea he looks pretty good."

"Whatever Kim.  Your mouth basically was open the entire time he was walking around the pool and finally shut when started talking to you. Why are you trying to act like you aren't into him." She laughed.

"Don't get me wrong, he is really hot, but I don't him to know I think that. I mean, I heard about his current reputation and I'm not really wanting to get used at the moment."

"Well just start being like me and use them hahahahha"

"You are hilarious..."

Monica did have a point. I mean, why not just use him? I could just hang out with him and use him for someone to go out on dates with. I don't have to sleep with him or be his girlfriend if I don't want to. Besides, I need to get the thought of my ex boyfriend Alex out of my mind. He was a complete jerk who cheated on me. The last thing I need is to go running back to him because I am not over him. I could use Justin to get over Alex and have a fun time.  By his current reputation, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I just wanted to go out on dates and make nothing more of it.
