I know all the shit he's doing to both of the girls and neither have a clue about it. Nick told me his plan before he set it in motion. I told him it was fucked up then and I still do, too. I called JC in private and told him to come find out if he can get through to her, but it was a loss. I mainly text JC because I don't want to be fingered as the traitor, regardless of how true it may be. If JC has any suspicions, it's from his own observations due to the simple fact that I have yet to rat the shithead out. I know once I do, I have to ensure either Lance or Justin have to be there too. "Nick, I still think you're an idiot," I whisper while we get our blue gear on.
"Why? I have both girls I love in my life."
"If you love Jazz, you wouldn't have fallen for Caylei."
"I can't chose."
"Man, you're going to lose them both."
"What do you know?"
"Other than what you're doing to them? How the first one feels," I tell him, preparing to text JC and ultimately deciding against it. I can use this shit as blackmail. I instead choose to email Lance about his best friend, aware he'll want to kill Nick if I even tell him. At that moment, the green eyed guy calls. I swear he's bisexual, that I'm almost certain of at the least. "Hey, man."
"AJ, have you seen Lynni?" he loudly asks, people screaming in the background.
"No, I'm touring with her non existent twin."
"Haha, please get her?"
"SSSSSAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!!!!" I scream.
"Without making me go deaf."
"Sorry," I say, smiling smugly.
"Whaaat?!" she whines, coming into the room half ready for the show.
I fling my arm out, holding my cell out to her. "Iiiitttt'ssss for jou, dah-lin'," I say, mocking her Mississippi accent.
She slaps me, takes my phone and takes off, only to return a few minutes later.
"Fuck him and his suspicions." She turns and storms off, placing my phone on the charging table beforehand.
I know better than to chase after her this close to show time, she always comes to get on stage without fail. We finish prepping for the show and like Old Faithful (the geyser), she's ready to get on the round to do the show.

~~~~~
I pull up Yahoo messenger after checking my email. 'What the hell did you say to set her off?'
'If she has been doing drugs or having sex.'
'Great job, cassinova. You never knew this, but she's been sleeping with Blondie.'
'WHAT?!'
'Yeah, you read right!'
'For how long?'
'Somewhere near a year.'
'I guess it makes sense, now at least.'
'Of course it does, Bass.'
'She has been secretive about her text messages and phone calls since the weekend after the VMAs last year.'
'Ding, ding, ding!'
'That's when it started?'
'Most likely. They disappeared and reappeared together that night.'
'Oh, jeeze. She started visiting the Tampa beaches, Disney and Sea World more.'
'To see him, sometimes doing what they love to do.'
'What about sneaking off to see a supposed friend?'
'He stands about 6 ft tall, short mushroom cut blonde hair, blue eyes and is the youngest in my group.'
'Cay is going to be heartbroken!'
'Not my prob.' I smirk evilly as I type this.
'No, but we're going to suffer through it. :/'
'Sorry.'
'Yeah, right. Sam just logged on. Hang tight.'
'Yeah.' I jump when someone taps on the lounge door. "What?" I question.
"Get some sleep, AJ," Fatima calls through the door.
"I'm going to after I talk to this person."
"Make it quick."
'G2G, main slave driver says I need to sleep.'
'Talk to you tomorrow, text rather. Haha. Night.'
'Sure.'
I log off and lay back, having a strange feeling of being watched when I hear a familiar sniffle. "Come here, girl," I welcome her. She rapidly strides across the room and lays beside me, curling her body to my side. Her head rests on my chest and she cries silently, my hand positioned on her back. "He's being an asshole again?"
"Y-yeah," she chokes out, sobbing.
"Fuck him, make him sleep alone." It's all I can think of right now.
"He called me a bitch and a ho."
"He's the bitch cuz he can't leave her and he's the ho, he's the one playing you both."
She yawns and I put my free hand behind my head, yawning myself. "Girl, you could do better. Lance is better for you."
She scoffs at the idea. "Hell fucking no," she replies, her sobs dying down. "Sing to me?"
"What song?" I ask, beginning to run my fingers through her raspberryish colored silky brown hair.
She yawns and stretches her whole body, tensing it for a minute before falling into a deeper state of relaxation. "Lenny's 'Can't Get You Off My Mind'?" she gently requests.
I swallow my pride and do what I got to, she hasn't slept right for the past couple nights.
"Life is just a lonely highway
I'm out here on the open road
I'm old enough to see behind me
But young enough to feel my soul
I don't wanna lose you baby
And I don't wanna be alone
Don't wanna live my days without you
But for now I've got to be without you
I've got a pocket full of money
And pocket full of keys that have no bounds
But then I think of lovin'
And I just can't get you off of my mind
Babe can't you see
That this is killing me
I don't want to push you baby
And I don't want you to be told
It's just that I can't breathe without you
Feel like I'm gonna lose control
I've got a pocket full of money oh yes I do
And a pocket full of keys that have no bounds
But when it comes to lovin'
I just can't get you off of my mind
Am I a fool to think that there's a little hope yeeah tell me baby yeah
What are the rules the reasons and the do's and don'ts yeeah yeah
Tell me baby tell me baby yeah
What do you feel inside?
I've got a pocket full of money
And a pocket full of keys that have no bounds oh yeah
But when it comes down to lovin'
I just can't get you off of my mind
I just can't get you off of my mind." She has an emotional tie to the song after the music shop in London, she also loves 'I Belong To You'. Some things happen for a reason, that one because she thought it was love and he deceived her, breaking her down in the process. I do feel bad knowing what Nick has confided in me and so badly want to tell her, save her from the pain she's going to feel sooner or later, but I can't rat him out.
"AJ? Are you up?" Brian asks in a whispered tone.
"Yeah."
"Where's Sam?"
"Laying next to me because Nick is being a douche bag again." She has a full body twitch and I rub her back. "Shhh, girl."
"Why does she go to you?" he asks, almost too curious.
"I don't know," I tell him honestly. "I'm going to get some sleep."
"Alright, good night," he replies, closing the door with a resounding click. I take my sunglasses off and put them on the stand by the bed, pulling the blanket over our pajama clad bodies.
